Last year sucked. I'm hoping for a better year once I get the vaccine. I'm at the back of the bus though... :lol:

Howdy Mak! Nice of you to poke your head in the door! You should be able to get your shot pretty soon now, they're saying that before we know it the problem will shift from supply to demand. I go for my second on the 6th of next month. Hope you and yours are doing well otherwise as well.

May 1st sounds like they plan to open it up to everyone. As long as none of these variants goes insane, we should be good to go.

Hey, Mak! Thanks for poking your head in here!

There is a certain euphoria in receiving your first Covid vaccination, or at least that was our experience. My wife was so excited that she talked her head off for days. I haven't seen her that happy in a long time.

This summer should be relatively close to normal so long as the vaccination rollout continues to go smoothly. It's likely to still be around but it should be manageable, not overwhelming the health care system. I have a trip planned to Iceland in June and the people there are even more anxious to host us.

Hi there Skipper!

It’s been a helluva year on many fronts. While I’m very much looking forward to being fully vaxed and things opening back up, so much/so many have been lost that there’s some grieving going on still. I can’t wait for some semblance of normalcy to return.

On a positive note, I’m retiring soon, got a place on the coast, and have my first shot over and done with. River Dog, I did walk out of Walgreens lighter than air only to be laid our for three days 30 hours later. It hit me so hard (I lost 7 pounds in 4 days) that my dr. thinks I must have had it. Everyone in my family had it in early December & I had been helping my 88 year old parents... doc thinks I had a false negative. I’m kinda scared to get the second shot. Yikes!!

I'd rather trade Russell Wilson for Tim Tebow than ban Mak! :D
