Dammit. I knew there was a reason I've always hated those frick'n .pdf files.
I opened one up a coupla weeks ago, and my unit ain't been the same since. Every time I click on Internet Explorer, the first extension that pops up is this "reframe.dll" bullcrap, and eventually/ finally (i.e. on a good day), the Google home page appears.
I know there are some very smart techno-geeks among us here who can help me out with this.
I've done a Google search for "how to remove a .dll virus" a coupla times; but alas, I either don't speak geek well enough to have a frick'n clue how to follow the steps the sites that I've found tell me to do in order to remove the virus, or just don't trust them in general.
Please—if there's anyone here who doesn't mind speaking "Geek for Idiots"—help me out so I can remove this damned thing.
Thanks.
