Adhering to my good friend Irish Greg's request, I have not listed Spencer Rattler on my list.

c_hawkbob wrote:I agree but Edge won't help us as much against the run. When you're 31st against the run and deciding whether to go edge or interior D-line that's more than enough to tip the scale.

I don’t know enough about Murphy to say one way or another, but if we would have taken a DB or WR, I would have passed out. Was hoping for Troy…. I wonder if his knee thing scared teams off? All said, I’ll take a 300 lb run stuffer; sure hope he plays like it in the NFL.

Murphy isn't Donald—hell, nobody is/was close to Donald—but I'd rather have game-wreckers inside the DL than outside.
River_Dog wrote:Pick your poison. Would you rather have a DT forcing a Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, or even an Aaron Rodgers to break the pocket to the outside or an edge rusher forcing them to step up? I'll take the latter.
That's not to be interpreted to mean that I don't like our pick. The more I read about it, the more I like it.
