Kind of sad. I really like having a place to go for long form journalism as opposed to the tiny blurbs on places like NFL.com. It was a fun hodge podge of stuff.

But now that Bill Simmons is gone, it seems like there is going to be a mass exodus. Since Simmon's suspension was first announced they've lost their web publisher, their Pulitzer prize winning movie critic, 4 members of the Editorial Staff (to go join Simmons at HBO), their lifestyle reporter at large and the Editorial Director. Looks like as soon as people have their contracts come up they're out the door.

Probably not a coincidence their columns have been fewer and far between and less varied in terms of subject matter.
