Manuel was a load, a fierce tackler, maybe an upgrade over Hamlin but his injury made a huge difference as Seattle had shut out Pittsburgh prior to him being injured. If Hamlin had been available maybe things would have been different on a couple of plays. Refs jacked the game away from Hass and the Hawks more than any other factor.
Hass was a 1-B QB. He never threw for 4000 yards in a season in spite of playing in the pure WCO. He only had a QB rating over 90 in 2 seasons, 2005 and 2007.His arm was limited. But he was a gritty competitor, tough and fiery and a hilarious interview off the field. He's the second best QB in franchise history edging out David Krieg.
Congrats buddy and I look forward to seeing him on Sundays much more than the CTE dufus Ditka who foolishly jumped in the dumpster with the Donald Trumpster. Good riddance!!!!
RW, get real folks we never saw anything like him in Seattle. He is unquestionably the best QB every to play here.
