Dolphins Sign Cutler to One Year Deal

Postby RiverDog » Mon Aug 07, 2017 4:55 am

With Ryan Tannehill out for the season, the Dolphins were in a desperate need for a starting quality quarterback. With Cutler having played in Dophins head coach Adam Gase's system before and being in the market for a rent-a-quarterback vs. a QB of the future, this signing makes a whole lot of sense.

And meanwhile, Colin Kaepernick remains unemployed.

Cutler sucks, should have taken the broadcasting job.

The Dolphins were clearly looking for someone that knew their system...why else would anyone in their right mind consider Tim Tebow?...and as mentioned, with the worst possible place for Kaepernick's politics being south Florida ruling him out, Cutler was the best choice of those available.

With Tannehill going down and two other perpetual dysfunctional franchises to round out the division, it looks like the Patriots might not even have to suit up to win the AFC East.

Regardless of the reasons they signed him, he does in fact suck. He's proven it for many years.
