Jimmy Graham our secret weapon

Postby politicalfootball » Sat Aug 12, 2017 1:10 pm

I would like to see Graham getting 800 - 1000 yards this year. Wilson can really use him in the red zone. He is so big and fast and gets yac it would take a big LB to tackle him. I hope we use him a lot.

I'm not sure he is considered a secret weapon as he was All-Pro and a pro-bowler with NO. It would be nice however, if Bevfool figured out how to utilize his skill set.......

Well, he should get those yards.
Last year coming off a knee injury he got 923 yards with a 14.2 yard average and 6 TD's.
I agree, he needs to be used more (and more creatively as well) in the Red Zone. He's too big of a mismatch to only get 6 TD's in 16 games.
But again with this Offense, it all depends on if the OL will provide enough time to let the play develop.

Yea, he's not much of a secret, but who cares about semantics?

He had a solid season last year, but I'm still not happy with how we're using him.

Dude broke numerous Seahawks records in an offense based on the run game and spreading the ball around in the passing game. He will not have NO numbers but hopefully he will be targeted in the endzone. When he's covered he's open

That's what I was eluding to when I said I wasn't happy with the way we're using him. We should be bouncing him all around the formation, put him in motion, look to find a favorable matchup, particularly in the red zone. With his size, we should be sending him to the back of the end zone and placing the ball to where only he can catch it.

Isn't McEvoy 6'6"?
If so they could stack them up either one behind the other or side by side and put the Defense in a no win situation. One of them will have a huge mismatch.
