I don't think it matters to River whether our team is good, bad or indifferent when he is looking for games to attend. I think he would go to the two away games no matter what. I might be wrong though. River could weigh in on this if he wants.

I figured you wouldn't care about the projected talent on the team when determining the games to attend. Chicago is a nightmare in cold and wind so I hope it is one of the first 4-5 games of the season for you.
Haven't heard from IG for a while, Tell him hello from IDHawk when you see him again. I imaging he's retired by now.

From PFT:
The Seahawks will play the Raiders on Oct. 14 at the new Totttenham Hotspur stadium, the first NFL game at the brand new venue, which the league offered input and a little money for the construction of.
I'm assuming Tottenham is near London...

Week 2 at the Bears on MNF!
NorthHawk wrote:Do we really play the Raiders at 10am?
It must be 1pm start time.
6 pm start local time ... It's in England.

idhawkman wrote:Congrats Riverdog on the Chicago game being early and you being able to catch a Cubby game. You'll love it. Just be careful where you stay in Chicago. Be safe and have a great time.
RiverDog wrote:Thanks, ID. I'm staying within a 15 minute walk from Soldier Field near Grant Park. Cubs game is a 1:20pm local start.

I checked into the Ramada across the hwy from Laguardia and the hotel desk told me not to come out of my door, "no matter what" after the sun went down and to stay in there until the sun was up the next morning. Definitely not what you want to hear when checking in a dusk and you haven't had dinner yet. I called the closest pizza delivery guy (Dominos I think it was) and settled in for a night of TV and pizza.
