I never hesitate to show this "remember when" photo to any Cowboys fan I happen to run into:

I watched that game and remember it well.

The Seahawks staff greased the ball ahead of the play resulting in the muff

Once again, the only muff is between your legs, we'll show you that in just a couple weeks.

Actually a Seahawk win would make me feel fuzzy!!! That would mean a better chance to meet and give you guys a proper beat-down and season end.

He Haw... my kids loved that show. What could I say... it was before the internet and video games took over the planet. That game ranks right up there with the 'no good left' in the Minnesota playoff game, but nothing tops the comeback vs GB... period. Never.

On another note, we are going into Saturday about as healthy as we could of hoped for with only JR a game day decision. Lots of "FP" on the injury report. Funny think about Russell is he's worth about a few extra million for games at night and playoffs (GB 5 int game notstanding) - Dallas plays their best game of the year, along with home field and they probably win. We play "PrimeTime Russell" and if Dallas isn't at 110% we win.

I gotta work. I hope i can at least watch via computer.

A few thoughts about "the snap". #1 I get tired of hearing how it cost the Cowgirls the game. It cost them the LEAD by 2 with 1:18 left and Matt Hasselbeck and the Hawks needing only a FG to win anyway.

So that was far from a given.

Another amazing aspect of the play was big play Babs getting off a chip by the kicker and hopping on one leg before gathering and running down Romo who was executing the emergency drill flawlessly less than a foot from a first down and a yard from a touchdown. There was a lot more to the play than a fumbled snap. I googled it and tried to link it but failed. Really a lot going on in that wild sequence.

Quit whining boys. Were going down there to shut your mouth again. :D :D :D :D

Actually Romo was less than a foot from first down on that play, not the end zone. IMO that would have been worse than his scoring a TD as the Cowboys could have ran the clock down and kicked the FG with seconds left while a TD would have still given us enough time to score our own TD.

But you're right regarding that the Romo-ooskie wasn't the walk off play people assume it was. Had the Cowboys held us on the ensuing drive, they would have forced us to punt from our own end zone and only been a play or two away from being in FG range. However, Shaun Alexander broke a 20 yard run and essentially put the game on ice. It was a critical moment and was the play that everyone remembers about that game, but it was by no means game winning/losing.

Go ahead and lay down your life savings on that possibility. A fool and their money are soon parted.
