It sucks for him. I watched the espn coverage of camp and saw the play. Didn't really see what happened specifically... Sad for him & his Fresno family.
As an aside...did anyone else see that Sean McGrath retired from the chiefs for personal reasons?
Does this mean Jermichael Finley is back on radar now. Feel Sorry for McCoy, but I can't imagine him being part of the team going forward. At the end of the day it is still a business.
This injury reminds me of Steve Emtman. Blew out one knee, rehabbed it all offseason, then early in the next, had the same injury to the opposite knee. Talk about being snake bit.
Not sure they are interested in Finley anymore. Still hasn't been cleared by any team for playing, and he came out a few weeks ago, saying he isn't going to take a real low salary ( it will be lower, but not like veteran minimum low). Sucks for McCoy wish him nothing but the best in a speedy recovery.
The professor said the 'hawks told Finley to retire, that the damage to his neck was too risky to play on. The only Dr. that has cleared him is the Dr. that did the surgery.
Sista, yeah I was watching on ESPN as well. Personally thought he pulled up like he had a cramp and was surprised they later said "injured". Hoping it's something that can heal in a few weeks, he looks like he came to camp in great shape.
