The T.V. networks are desperate paint our Seahawks as the "evil" team, the "Raiders" of the new century and most fans are not going for it. Sure, you have a few Bozos that want to Parrott the network line about the Seahawks being "undeserving" but most fans across the country love the fact our team takes their opponents to the woodshed and spanks their behinds.
Last Sunday our team totally controlled the Broncos for most of the game. Yes, it was our teams fault that Denver was allowed to hang on when they should have been put away much earlier. So, Manning had his big moment and forced the OT, BUT, we won the coin toss and then shoved the ball down the Broncos throats for 80 yards and it was entirely proper that it was Marshawn Lynch who scored the winning TD. Why was it so appropriate that it was Lynch? Because our offense is based on running the ball when everyone on the planets knows we are going to run the ball and there is nothing the Broncos or any other team can do to stop it.
How many times were we calling for just such a RB that could run time off the clock in the 4th. qtr. and ice games? Plenty, over the years, especially when SA was our top dog. The fact is the Broncos deserved to lose that game and if they would have found a way to win it would have been a travesty.
How come none of the networks have pointed out that our DB's have not been getting flagged P-I of Defensive holding calls? It was predicted that the "new" rules would ruin the LOB, but that hasn't happened yet none of the networks want to point that out because it doesn't fit with their "scenario" of who they say the Seahawks are.
If the coin had turned up "tails" and the Broncos had drove the ball 80 yards and scored a TD how quickly would Wilson have been called a baby if he would have cried out the coin toss not going his way??? Oh man! The pundits would have been all over him comparing his "lack" of maturity to Manning, yet it was Manning who acted like the petulant child who throws a fit if everything doesn't go his way. I can only imagine the locker rooms in Indy after all of the times the Colts lost to Brady in the play offs, even at home. I never knew just how much of a baby Manning is until he started blaming others for his own short comings.
