Yeah, I was reading something about that earlier as well, actually as I was coming into work this morning I was thinking, "it must suck playing the Hawks, not only do they beat you when they play you but they beat you the week after as well."

Speaking of Deja Vu, last year we had our last away game against the Giants which happened to be where the SB was going to be played. After that we wrapped up Home field throughout the playoffs and didn't have to leave the Clink until going back to New Jersey for the SB. This year the same scenario is presenting itself. We play our last away game in Pheonix, home of the SB. All we have to do is win this game, beat the Rams (and hope for a little help) and then we get to stay at home until the SB again.

lol, I have the Chargers on a parlay, actually.

SF has been terrible at home, have a lame duck coach, and fans are currently reading about whether Harbaugh will go to the Raiders or consider going back home to Michigan. I just don't see how the team is able to focus on football right now.

But, you never know in the NFL. SD has dropped 3 in a row, but they are a decent team away.

The streak continues - with the 49ers loss yesterday -- the record for last nine teams who played their next game the week after playing their Seahawk's game is now 0-9.

Our D is on 3rd stringers now and it has nothing to do with playing the goddamn Seahawks. We rolled out Nick Moody and Willhoite at LB, Jerod Eddie for McDonald who was just cut, Craig FN Dahl at Safety after Eric Reid was concussed and a Cromartie cousin I've never even heard of after Cox was hurt in the 2nd qtr. We were on a D full of practice squaders. But maybe McDonald had another conduct issue because the Seahawks were too physical for him.

And I'm sure these guys all got hurt last night because the Seahawks wore them down the week before. I know Russell Wilson was too physical for Boreland last week when he injured Boreland's ankle on the int return haha. The arrogance flows thick with Ws, doesn't it ;)

Wow Future,,.. get up on the wrong side of the Bay this morning? You sound angry. Hey, the 7-9 record does get you a decent draft position this year. Maybe the FO will come through, whomever they are next spring.

You can call it an abhoration if you want Future but three years of this stuff seems to back up the theory that it is tough to win the week after playing the Seahawks. Think it is something like 6 -31 now over the last three seasons, dismiss it all you want, but please explain why teams like KC and SF followed Seahawks games with losses to OAKLAND for F's sake, with their playoff lives in the balance? How about Philly dismantling Dallas, losing to Seattle and losing to Washington the following week. If it's all coincidence, it's a damn consistent, and weird arse coincidence no matter your take on it.
