A tweet I though might interest y'all:

Kenneth Taylor

@Softykjr Kill the Wilfork rumors. Terrance Knighton is at my restaurant in a private room with Pete and John as we speak.

Really? No comment on Pete and John having an intimate "Pot Roast" dinner?

Doesn't Knighton play the same position as Mebane? or does he play the Williams/ McDaniels spot? I thought Seattle might move on from Mebane, but I was thinking it would be something more along the lines of a draft pick.

I don't care where he plays... unless maybe they're thinking of moving him to the OLine!

Thing is, a tweet like this might be the only thing we ever hear of this until the trigger is pulled (if it ever is) on a deal ... just like the Graham trade we don't hear spit outa this team until something happens.

I would be down with this if it happened, though there are several other studly DT's I'd be really on board with as well. I cannot remember a year when so many legitimately studly DT's we all free agents at the same time. CRAZY deep at DT this year...which is good since it might drive down the price.

Yeah, bummer huh?

But having just traded Max the other side of the ball has become a greater priority I reckon.

I'm with ObS: I was a bit surprised that we brought him in. I think we need a signing or two to replace Carp and/or Unger, and the rest goes to rookies, Wilson, and Wagner. As much as a pass rushing DT would be great, it's hard to see how that would fit with the remaining cap space.
