it appears the following:

1. While Bennett did not "Ask for a trade" it looks like he is asking for more money.

2. Brandon Mebane is being asked to take a pay cut.

3. Jesse Williams will get another shot to make the team.

It was him. He started the rumor on twitter trying to see how many people would pick it up and run with it.
