Sports OT - Mayweather vs. Pacquiao

I had not given Pacquiao much of a chance - Floyd is too technically sound and still trains as hard as he always has.

However - A twitter poll today reports that 55% of the respondents are picking Pacquiao to win.

I think the 55% are wrong but who knows for sure?

My Prediction? - - Floyd will win easily but the fight will go the distance.

Poll has been created for topic.

5-6 years ago I still would have picked Floyd but would have been excited to see this fight and wouldn't have been surprised if Manny did manage to beat him.

Unfortunately Mayweather managed to stall and dodge Manny until he was clearly passed his prime. It's going to be an easy boring decision for "Money". He's just going to stand outside and pot shot Manny from a safe distance, never taking any risks. And I don't think Manny is quick enough to get inside on him and force him to mix it up anymore. I have absolutely zero interest in this farce. But I would be beyond happy if somehow Manny managed to knock that piece of garbage woman beater the hell out.

Yeah those are my thoughts too - Pacquiao is far past his prime - so is Mayweather some though - Still Pacquiao has a punchers chance - however he has to land the big punch on one of the hardest boxers to hit in the history of the sport.

It will either be a draw or a split decision. Mayweather is still going to avoid fighting Pacquiao by getting on his bicycle to avoid taking any clean shots from Paq. 4-5 years ago and in a lighter weight class I would say M.P. would knockout Mayweather but this weight class will tire Paq. out by making him chase L.M. all over the ring.

I can't wait for this fight, although I wish it would have happened 5 years ago. I think Mayweather takes it. I'm just hoping to see a good fight that lasts a few rounds.

I would like to see Packy win it but he wont. If these fight were held 7 or 8 years ago like it should have been then it would have been a match, now I think its just 2 old guys fighting.

Mayweather is 2 years older then Pacman. Interesting that most of us consider Pac "past his prime" --- this morning, on a talk-radio show about the $$$ being gambled, supposedly the public is 60-40 Pacman and the professional betters are 80% Mayweather, if that means anything. (what they said is the public doesn't like to bet $2 to win $1, so they generally favor the underdog, where where the pros will bet $2.00 to win $1.00)

Pac is a fighter where FM is a boxers last longer than fighters. 6-7 years ago Packy wins this fight. Instead with a hurt shoulder he loses it.

I don't understand why Nevada wouldn't let him have an anti-inflammatory.
