Lockett (without the 'e') is going to be our primary return man next season. I doubt that we see a lot of BJ (love that name) returning kicks.

But this is another indication of the seriousness of the injury to Paul Richardson, the lack of confidence in other WR's like Norwood, and our lack of depth at the WR position that we'd sacrifice the #3 QB without a viable replacement. More fallout from the Percy Harvin debacle.

I don't know if I agree with this. It could be an indication of how they feel about BJ as a QB as much as those other guys at WR, IMO. Or it could be that they feel that he could be a real option at WR, not because the other guys are that bad but because he is that good. In reality, like so many other things, it is probably a combination of all those things.

I think it's more what Daniels was always destined for than any other factors. Unless he blew people's socks off as a QB he was going to wind up on the other end of the pass (or kick as it may be).

Pete has always put the best players on the field so if Daniels upgrades the position as a KR or WR, he will get a chance to make it.
Part of me is wondering if they have some trick plays up their sleeve however, but that might just be my imagination.

A trick play? I think that fake field goal in the NFCCG is enough to last me for another decade of Seahawks football.

That fake FG was a throwback to the Patera years.
In a non playoff game, it might have been more fun but I sure like how it turned out.

The fake FG vs. the Packers was exciting, but it doesn't hold a candle to the Zorn-to-Herrera fake FG in our first ever Monday Night Football appearance vs. the Falcons. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven when we converted on that play.

Well we can safely assume that BJ has failed as a QB and now has a slim chance of sticking on the final 53 man Roster.

BJ has been living on the practice squad for a year and a half. No one picked him up so we can safely assume no team wanted him as a QB. The Seahawks have had an open back up position since the super bowl and did not give him an opportunity. Safe to say they do not see him as a QB long term.

The kid has 4.5-4.6 speed is built like a running back. He has excellent vision. He could be a stand out special teamer and roll player ala MikeRob. I think the 'hawks are just giving a hard working kid a chance. Otherwise he'd likely be out of football.
