Hawk Sista wrote:Really, I think it is too soon to say. I know this is a fan forum and we are discussing hypotheticals. I just remember last year thinking our schedule looked REALLY, REALLY tough, but when we got on a roll (as other team's faltered) it just was not the same set of teams we were worried about at the beginning of the season. Part of that was due to injury (Cards QB, Niners D) and part was that teams just were not as good as we feared (or we were better - who knows???).
Dallas will be interesting to watch. Their O-line is surely something, but they lost their league-leading RB (in DeMarco Murray) and replaced him with some rather C-list players. If the Cowboys have the success on the ground in 2015 with Darren McFadden in lieu of Murray, I will be surprised and worried all at once. The reason, IMHO, Tony and Dez were so good last year is Murray was healthy all year long and gouged the league with big game after big game. Having a significant ground game threat makes a big difference. I don't see it in Run DMC, but if McFadden has anywhere close to the success that Murray did, this will be a team to watch in the NFC, for sure.
I was going to answer the question similarly to the answer above. I think the only way we don't get back to HFA is if we face a lot of injuries, or we form the super bowl hangover and implode. The team talked about how hard it was to come back after one, coming back after having made it there twice might be harder still, but I have faith in Pete. #WilsontoGraham #GOHawks
