OT: Colleges to outlaw the hurry up offense?

This proposal seems absurd to me.

There's been very rare and random deaths on the practice field for 70 or 80 years. It didn't start with the hurry up offense. This seems to me like a "if you can't beat it, ban it" proposal aimed at a few teams like Oregon.

I don't know if a set amount of time between plays is required, but an injury is an injury. The game has to stop. I realize teams can also use that to their advantage, but the rules have to focus on a team abusing it not on legitimate injuries. Is it going to result in death? Not likely. Could it result in further injury? It sure could.
