Oh, they've been proactive about replacing Lynch, drafting Turbin one year and Michael the next. I'm just not sure that they are comfortable with either player as the heir apparent and if Lynch had announced his retirement, I wouldn't have been surprised if they drafted a RB this year as it's supposedly a good RB class

Addressing the position in the draft and expecting a player as good as Lynch is just wishful thinking. I 100% agree that we need to continue to try, but Marshawn, IMHO is a very special player - the likes of which will not be seen for some time.

That said, I would not cry if we drafted Gurley or Melvin (in that order for me) if either is available.

I'm in no way disagreeing w/ the notion that John & Pete have attempted to address it w/ Turbo & CM and I get the overall point about them being in constant growth mode. They are always looking, scrapping and scouring for the future. Point taken
