Course I thought at the time an "adequate" QB like Flynn would do it, not the best young QB in the NFL, but the ground work, and toughness was there, for those that wanted to look, also was when I was saying the NFC West would be the best division in football within two years. Told you the year SF would return to the SB, when Seattle would reclaim the division, and professed they would WIN the whole enchilada before ota's last off season, you do the math.
Well cmon, people in every city believe their team is on the verge. Every fan knows their own players, aquisitions and potential upgrades better than their opponent's fanbase. In a league this closely matched everyone has a xhance to make a gigantic leap out of nowhere with a couple aquisitions and the former top dogs getting hit with injury or FA. For all we know the Raiders go 13-3 this yr with their monster upgrades, the Broncos end 9-7 and Oakland has homefield enroute to the SB. Seattle set the foundation before for sure with great D, run game and a big, physical athletic group. You could really see that even in warm ups. I have no idea what other team has the foundation in place, but I guarantee there are at least a couple that will show out of nowhere and it will be a surprise to everyone but that fanbase.
