I'm not going to even both paying attention to that game until it's over.

The harder I rood for that kind of thing, the less likely it'll happen. Always works that way when our team could use a lil help.

I'll watch GB and NE instead, and hear random updates from that broadcast along the way.

Go Seahawks!!!

EDIT: Pats finally on the board to make it 13-7 GB. Be great for N.E. to actually win this thing. We'll see.

Little dissapointed in Atl right now, honestly they should be up around 30-3 simply aren't taking advantage of how poorly ARZ has been playing.

There sure has been a lot of very odd flags and non-calls in this game, starting with Devin Hester's TD that wasn't in the first qtr.

Atlanta is playing like it knows that NO won... and they have to win today. AZ playing like a team with a 2 game lead in a division. Bad move AZ.

Is that the same "Josh Wilson" at CB that we discarded? He looks pretty good today.

Yep - 29-10, Falcons, with 2 and a half min left in game.

Well done, Atalanta!

Now, let's take advantage next Sunday in Philly!

Go Seahawks!!!

EDIT - 23-21, GB, with 12 min left in 4th. Pats have a chance, but have never had lead all game. We'll see.

 Not that big an upset though really.
I've been saying all along that while the Cards have a legitimately good defense, their team as a whole is nothing special. They are nothing more than this season's version of the Chiefs last year...get off to a fast start while playing nobody, then choke under the pressure of playing against quality opponents.
Watch the Cards crumble, and the Seahawks win the division. This will happen.

Hey Zorn, 1 game, and it wasn't really all that close ;) ( honestly, it should have been a blow out). Arizona has a lot of problems right now, don't let the one gimmee TD fool you guys, that team hadn't scored a TD in 11 quarters until 1 minute left in the fourth, and that was indeed the WORST defense in the NFL holding them out of the endzone for 59 minutes.....

There is problems in the desert right now. Does anyone believe KC can't beat that team???

EVERYTHING is in Seattles hands, now they just need to get it done.

If we win next week at Philly, I think that'll be the clincher to get us in, even if it wouldn't be official at that point. Never imagined we'd have a shot at the division a few weeks ago, lol. Just wanted to make the playoffs.

first things first - we have to at least officially get in. Hope we get division.

Patriots couldn't pull it off.

GB knows how to handle pressure, and they are playing awfully well on offense right now.

Rams are no easy out, either, even if it was vs the Raiders. A fifty burger is never a joke, especially a shutout.

SF still could lose to Raiders, you never know.

Great stuff coming up to close season.

And here I though picking ATL in the pickem would give me a game up on the pack ... turns out everyone picked them ('cept Zorny ;) )

Yea - I wanted the "win-win" situation instead.
Pull for Atlanta, but get pickem win if Az should pull it off.
lol, I actually did think the Cards would somehow rebound today.
Glad I was wrong.
I'm a long shot to win pool anyhow.
At least I got my survival pool win (again, lol).

p.s. - I was also the only one to pick SD over Bal :)

BTW, next week Arizona will lose again, at home to the Chiefs. Chiefs will beat them up and the Seahawks will possibly have the same record as the Cards until they meet again, though don't be shocked if the Rams beat them too.
Then the Seahawks will smack them down for good and win the division.
There's a good chance the Cards go win less from here on, and a VERY strong likelihood they win just one more game the rest of the way. If I had to bet, they back into a wildcard game if they make the playoffs at all.
Like I said, they are last year's Chiefs version 2.

Yea, I picked the Dirty Birds, too. Stanton plays a lot differently on the road than he does at home, and he proved that today. NFC West is very much within our grasp.

BTW, I'm going to the Hawks-Cards game in AZ and have an extra ticket if anyone is interested.

Not for nothing, but the Eagles combined opponent record at home is 18-53-1, in fact the Eagles have beat exactly two winning football teams of their 9 ( Boys and Colts and those happened to be on the road) beyond that it reads like a who's who of team fighting for the number one pick.

Arizona is a slightly different matter ( 40-32) but the bulk of that consist of three teams ( SF,PHILLY,DETROIT) not overly impressed by them either. They are always an issue in the desert, however, the wheels IMHO are about to come off, and in a big way.

Not chalking either up as an "automatic" win, but it isn't super difficult winning all your games at home when facing teams like Jacksonville or Carolina week after week. Seattle has an excellent shot at ending those home winning streaks, especially with finally a break in the schedule where at the very least Seattle doesn't have to play anymore of the BS 10am start time.

Denver up on KC by 13 points heading into the 4th quarter.

With a loss - KC will be entering their game against Arizona next week with an almost a backs to the wall, must win mentality.

How things have changed over the past 7 days.

For what it's worth - and it may not be much - the Raiders are going to be Fired Up after losing 52-0 in Stl.

LOL, man, to be shutout and have a 50 burger hung on you?

Brutal.

Regardless, their game next Sunday vs SF is their SB, no doubt.

And given how the 49ers look, coupled with their Twitter issues, it wouldn't surprise me to see Oakland prevail:)

Also happy as a clam that KC lost ( and lost badly at home) to Denver tonight, placing them in kind of a "back against the wall" position, going into a "tough" venue against a team that has a myriad of warts, and haven't really played well in about a month. Sounds good to me.

Now Seattle, handle your business! GO HAWKS!

Yea - That's another good point that you and Savy make, HC.

Man, lol, the closing games continue to be HUGE to end the season. Each week they keep getting bigger.

I'm reminded why I love the NFL so much.

Despite paparazzi-esqe coverage by the four letter networks, and seemingly never ending twitter wars among players, (and owners:), it's still the best game in town.

Not knowing what's actually going to happen is drama worth living for.

So Stoked our team has put themselves in their current position. We seem to be hitting a peak at just the right now.

Just take care of business in Philly.

Go Seahawks!!!

Gotta beat philly. Niners ain't losing to the raiders. Our team can and must control their future. They have to win 3 of the next 4.

Not that we necessarily have a game to give, but obviously if we had to pick the 3 of 4, it would be our remaining divisional games.

To Sweep AZ, SF, then split with Stl would be awesome.

Meanwhile, the Eagles will be tough.

Philly hasn't faced a defense like ours though. They beat up on the Panters and Titans at home, then got crushed by Packer's offense on the road. But none of those teams possess a defense like ours anyway.

We got a great shot doing this next week. These games...they just keep on gettin' bigger.

I watched most of the Cards-Dirty Birds. I couldn't believe that Arians did not challenge that 50+ yard catch that Julio Jones made where one foot CLEARLY came down out of bounds. It was incredible enough that the refs on the field didn't catch it, but for Arians not to challenge it was simply unbelievable, especially when his DB was motioning for them to challenge. Don't they have someone in the booth that can talk to Arians and tell him when to throw the challenge flag? That's the egregious blown opportunity I've seen a coaching staff make this season. If I were a Cards fan, I'd be pretty outspoken about that phuck up.
