Yup, Saturday the 29th, The Shack had it's first birthday! With a total of 20,577 posts, 965 topics and 139 members...we're off to a good start. Thanks again to everyone for being here, seriously. Sure, there are other forums out there that have more traffic/members/etc. But there's something about this place that makes it special and different. Well thought out, intelligent and cognitive posts (at least 95% of them).

Funny how time passes, one year ago we we were talking about a run for the SB. Seems like it wasn't that long ago, but it was.

Anyway, here's to another great year, keep the good posts coming, and have a slice of virtual cake!

Yoder , thanks for setting this thing up Bro! I know you did this on your own time and dime and I for one really appreciate it. I will be sending another donation shortly. Still trying to come up with some cool ideas to help raise money to keep the "Shack" going. Thinking about doing a Raffle for some cool garb or something.

Yoder what you did was amazing. You provided a lifeboat for the PI Forum refugees to ride out the championship season. For that reason alone this will always be an epic forum but its clean easy format makes it a great venue for discussion and I can only anticipate it will grow.. It may not be the biggest forum but its my only one. Thanks so much!!

Can you imagine if our forum community were disbanded and then the Hawks would have gone on to win the SB without us. Actually I don't think it would have happened, yeah I am actually going to make the claim: if you guys wouldn't have started this forum we would not have won the SB. Thanks guys, you deserve a ring. I'll give PA a call and see if I can get you guys one.

I personally love this place. It is a special source I visit often for all of my Hawks info. The camaraderie is great, as well as the fact that folks who post here are able to debate topics without getting all butt hurt over it for the most part. Happy Birthday to THE SHACK!!
