Not that I want to make excuses for the Niners, but they did catch the Raiders when they were hot as last week they beat the Rams 52-0.

There are radio fires burning where I live right now, lol.
Wow - gotta give it up to the Raiders, fresh off a 52-0 shellacking and they show up big vs the 49ers, who are now being led by a lame duck coach.

Rumor is SF will try to trade Harbaugh (since he is under contract for 2015). However, he can refuse trade, forcing team to fire him (which is a real possibility, considering he's not in any kind of mood to help CEO Jed York or GM Trent Baalke).
Oakland is very possible as well.
NY would be a terrible fit for him.
I actually think he'd be better off in Atlanta - talented team that's close to being a double digit win legit. He also knows the NFC pretty well. JH does have ties to the Raiders, though, since he was a (QB?) coach for them years ago.

This will be a great distraction for them to get ready to play us next week. Time to take the boot and finish it.

We can't take the 49ers lightly (gestures to quiet laughter in the forum).
We really can't.
In the same way the Raiders beat their azz today, we must...Finish them!
Our team is in playoff form right now, and they understand the importance of this divisional game.
If we win out, we win the West.
Wow.
Seahawks on a roll right now!

The team can't but I can and do.
I take them lightly because they are done, the have literally no chance of doing anything other than falling flat on their faces while Richard Sherman laughs maniacally.
It's almost sad for the niners, Sherman played too hard with Kaepernick and he's broken him.

He questioned his future at the press conference. That's sends a massive message to his team. I think it will be the Raider, but if I were him I would take the Michigan job.

You know that Michigan will make a run for him. The Wolverines aren't even the best program in their own state anymore let alone their conference or the nation. The only thing that keeps me from flat out predicting that he'll end up there is that if he doesn't stay in the NFL, he gives up what ever is remaining on his contract with the Niners even if the Niners can him.
If Dallas misses the playoffs, they might be a dark horse in the Hairball sweepstakes. But I'm not sure how many coaches that have multiple suitors would work for Jerry Jones.

I'm not sure who should want Harbaugh. Hes mentally unhinged IMO. Hes a whining micromanaging wonk. Hes so tightly wound he looks like he is about to snap. This implosion is something to see, sort of like a train wreck, you have to slow down and look. I love it BWWWAAAAAAAAAH! LOSERS!!!

I read that Michigan has already made inquiries about Harbaughs interest but the report said they thought he wanted to stay in the NFL.
Going to Dallas would be a reality show with both he and Jones wanting to control the team. It would be fun to watch.
As every year there will be a few coaching opportunities in the NFL. I suspect if he has a choice it will be Oakland as when they tried to trade him to Cleveland, his wife said no and that she wanted to stay in the Bay area. Then again can you blame her for not wanting to leave San Francisco for Cleveland?
However it turns out it will be a bit of a loss for us fans as we won't have something to laugh or complain about with our Division rival.

Don't kid yourself. Harbaugh may be a first class prick, but if the Niners fire him, he will be the most sought after coach on the planet that doesn't currently have a job. He turned Stanford from a doormat into a perennial into a top 5 program and he's taken the Niners to 3 consecutive NFCCG's and a SB. You can rationalize some of that record with the Niners as having walked into a full cupboard, but nevertheless, there's always 4-7 teams that would give their left nut for an opportunity to hire a head coach with a track record that Harbaugh has. He'll have his choice of several teams.

True. But be careful what you wish for if you're an owner or GM.

I wouldn't go that far, or even close to that far. Different styles work better for different locker rooms, and Harbaugh isn't and won't be the last "tightly wound" super successful coach. Plenty of guys like that have won often, and won championships...

Pete is one of those "tightly wound" coaches. I've never seen any 60+ year old chew gum like that man can. Not that I'm comparing his style to Hairball's.

I wonder what the combined record of Seattle opponents are at this point after facing Seattle the previous week is at this point, last I heard it was something like 6-22 following a Seattle game,it appears as if it doesn't matter who the opponent is really either. GB,ARZ, KC and SF all dropped games the next week to FAR inferior competition, hell, Oakland has two total wins, and they both happened to come against teams that had played Seattle the week before. Been like that for several years.
Just curious.

Pete is loose as a goose. An endearing memory was watching him laughing and chomping gum on the sidelines as Seattle was being strafed by Houston who built a 17 point lead at one point. The guy is as cool as the other side of the pillow. The contrast between he and Hairball or Chip Kelley(OMG I had no idea)is obvious. He has energy and intensity but he doesn't seem stressed out ever.

I guess it depends on your perspective. I've seen him in post game interviews after winning a routine regular season game act like a kid on a sugar high, say things he doesn't really mean. I call that being pretty tightly wound. If he were a teenager, they'd be prescribing Ritalin.
