The Packers losing to the Bills is awesome. Not to be negative, but it also highlights that on any given Sunday.

Great news, but means nothing if we lay an egg against SF today...

That was the worst game I've ever seen Aaron Rodgers play. He was off target all day, should have had at least two more picks, although he wasn't getting much help from his receivers today.

The God like Aaron Rodgers. Maybe the talking heads will get off his jock for a week.

I haven't looked at all the scenerios but what if we tie with the Boy's at 12-4, wouldn't they then take the tie-breaker, making us the #2 seed? Also, has anybody looked at what would happen if we tie with both the boys' and the pack? How would that all fall out? Again, I don't know for sure and could figure it out if I looked at the scenerio's but was hoping somebody else has already done the work.

Gotta root for Philly to beat the Cowboys tonight. If that happens, then we control our own destiny for HFA.

Well, even if the Eagles lose (I picked Dallas to win big) the Cowboys will get KILLED against the Colts, so it doesn't matter.
Home field advantage throughout is within our grasp, I'd say the odds are HEAVILY in our favor right now.
No way do the Cowboys win out even if they win today, and no way do the Tards or Lambs bounce us the way they are playing, and more importantly, the way our defense is playing.

I totally agree that we could use Tate. I wish we had him, but I still don't like him yapping when we were losing that he was the reason. My .02

I pretty much agree with all of this, but you never know. It's just good to know that we do still need to root for the Cowboys to lose, which most of us probably do out of habit anyway.

Odd thing is even if the Boys and Seattle win out, if either the Pack OR the Lions win out, Seattle STILL garners the #1 seed. I don't see Dallas doing it, but I could see GB or Detroit doing so ( both have very winnable games next week followed by a finale at Lambeau). Nothing is written, and Seattle needs to remain focussed on the game in front of them and ONLY the game in front of them...

Seattle needs to go 1-0 two more weeks and root for both GB and Detroit to win in week 16 and that's that.HFA who would a thunk it?

One of the two will win out. Detroit gets Chicago, and GB gets some creampuff in week 16 ( I think Tampa) and then face each other in the final game. I kind of doubt Dallas tops Indy next weekend, but who knows?? Hell, with that team I wouldn't be surprised to see them topple Indy, only to lose to Washington on the road in the final game, and somehow whiff on a playoff birth with 11 wins ( as they do not hold tie breakers over Arizona, GB or Detroit) there is a very real possibility that an 11 win team could be home in the playoffs if it works out that way, which is crazy to think about.
Seattle needs to TCOB and not look back. Prefer they simply win out and finish the job, let others root against other teams, and break down every tie breaker scenario, Seattle is guaranteed a playoff birth with two more wins, period, and at least the three seed ( in a worst case scenario where Detroit or GB loses two and the Boys win out). Not sure how the final two play out, but am sure winning your division is the only thing that should be on Seattles mind currently.
GO HAWKS!

I'm just glad that Indy is going to play their starters, for the most part (they may rest Wayne).
The Cowboys lose focus at home for some reason, and the Colts need this win in preparation for the playoffs.
If Indy does go full strength and drops this game, I really question how well they do when the playoffs begin.
IMO, they are the 3rd best team in the conference (behind Pats and Broncos), and could easily get beat in the WC round, even though they'll be hosting that matchup.

Kind of along the lines I was attempting to explain to someone else recently on this board. It's one thing to throw for a gozillion yards against perennial doormats like Jacksonville and Tennesse four times a year, and quite another to get it done in the post season. Indy, until they find a running game, and well, you know, actually RUN the ball to balance the offense, that team is doomed to continue on the Peyton Manning success system, tons of yards, td's and regular season victories over some pretty suspect defenses, with a whole lotta nothing to show for it.
Personally, I don't understand the thought process in refusing to put together a team that can win a Lombardi ( or at least continuing to attempt to year in and year out) as opposed to building everything around a QB while neglecting a complete football team that can run when needed, pass when needed, and is sound in all facets of the game. I suppose they put butts in the seats, make money, and can always rally around their " our QB is the best!" Mantra that has worked out so well in the last twenty years or so.
