In less than 2 weeks RW and Wagner can start negotiations on new contracts.

Crap, the title wasn't supposed to say Wags as well, but you can add him into the mix as he is eligible to start negations after week 17 as well.

Doesn't matter, they'll both get done in the offseason.

I agree, but do wondering on the timing. It would be cool to get it done as soon as possible, but I am sure it is smarter to wait until after the season to get into all of that.

I know Wilson can't even talk to the Seahawks right now, not sure about Wagner, odds are they both get extended quickly once eligible...

They'll both get done ASAP from the front office's perspective. Obviously they don't want either Wilson or Wagner to even have to test fee agency, that is a big part of why they are settling with Wright and Avril now, they want to get this stuff done and out of the way quickly, so they know what they will have to work with for those two.

I think it was Bob (maybe it was Kalibane) who said the other day that, he never could understand why Tim Ruskell's policy was to always wait until the offseason, never deal with things while the season is going on, and he said "this is what a real front office looks like".
To that, Marshawn Lynch says
