Yeah they are. PC and JS have done a great job of having a plan and sticking to it. The exact cap is always fluid so the numbers don't always match up. The website I use: http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/seattle-seahawks/cap/2015/ shows they actually have more than that. It shows them at about 106 before those moves, not counting around 6 mil that we can roll over, giving us closer to 40 mil in cap space before those moves (depending on how high the cap goes next year). Either way they are looking good!

They've done a great job taking care of our own guys first, which is a key factor for guys still waiting for their own contracts, in addition to rewarding players for stellar efforts. We whiffed on Harvin, but will be more than fine for the future.

It was really the decision to get rid of Harvin that is allowing us to make these moves, and still have so much left over.
Harvin was going to cost us a TON against the cap, it's no wonder the Seahawks decided to just move on when they did. After all, if he's going to pout and cause problems, and not play on final drives, etc..., and if the team isn't going to have a better offense with him, then it's time to move on.
The upside of all that is the HUGE relief in cap room.
It's pretty clear they made the right decision.

Question: what do you do with a guy who is making $10m more per year than he is worth and makes your offense even worse and causes locker room problems? Get rid of him.

Does anyone actually believe it takes balls to get rid of the most overpaid wr in the nfl who single-handedly dragged the team down?

No, if harvin was putting up 100 yard games and scoring touchdowns and making us BETTER ON THE FIELD it would take balls to get rid of him for locker room issues.

It takes exactly 0 balls to get rid of a player who sucks and makes way too much money and made the team worse.

There were 30 GMs who chose not to acquire Harvin from the Vikings. Only 1 made the colossal mistake of trading for him. That is the most important part and people seem to forget it.

There are a lot of Front Offices that would stick it out because of ego, fear for their job, or just stubbornness. Even if they did eventually get rid of him, many would have lost the season. At least ours were bold enough to admit the mistake and move on early enough to salvage the season.
That's not a small amount of money to admit you were wrong about.
