Buffalo HC Doug Marrone decided to exercise his opt out provision in his contract so there is another HC position available.
We can probably expect to hear rumors of interviews regarding Buffalo in the near future.

Apparently he exercised an opt out clause in his contract that allowed him to leave if there was a change of ownership, which there was. He's rumored to be heading to the Jets as he was the OL coach there years ago.
So how many openings do we have now? SF, Jets, Bears, Bills, Falcons, Raiders... getting pretty close to that 6.8 average.

Getting more and more curious what SF ends up doing. Local buzz is they end up hiring from within (Fangio, with Tomsula (DL coach) having an outside shot).
I dunno if they patiently wait around for Quinn. I guess the longer the delay the more likely it would seem that he's a top choice. Could be a little over a month away if everything goes according to plan. Still just don't see him landing there.

I'm going to put my money on Kyle Shanahan.
