I knew somebody would come a knockin.

"Vikings want Seattle's DC, Redskins are targeting Seattle's OC, and Detroit is Targeting Seattle's Offensive line coach"

Ouch!

We could live without all 3, if it came to that.
Quinn would have shot at being a decent HC.
The other 2, not so much.

I would like to keep Cable more so than any other coach.

I think Cable could be a good fit for the Detroit job.

And Bevell could be a good fit for the Redskins job.

Just as long as Schneider is not interviewing anywhere we will be OK.

Anyone think the Walrus would be up for an Offensive Coordinator position if Bevell gets a head coaching position? He was a great play caller. He still lives in this area.

According to PFT, the Lions are interested in Cable but not as a HC.
As he's already an assistant HC, what could they give him - an OC position?

I wouldn't wish Schneider on anyone, let alone one of our own.

All three (Bevell, Cable, & Quinn) getting lots of interest & the timing irritates me. That said, I wish them all well. There was life after Gus, we will survive if we have John & Pete.

That's a bit strange. Usually the new Coach picks his own coordinators.

Then again, our coach picked his own GM.

I gotta disagree on Cable Zorn. He had a bad Raiders squad at .500 with a punishing running attack and that old loon Davis fired him. They have been dreadful ever since. I think he could go take a team to a superbowl.Id hate to lose Quinn, hes taken the defense to another level.

Now Bevell on the other hand dont let the door hit you in the arse. Maybe we could return the favor to the Vikes by sending a POS their way for a change.

TB and Houston have their new HC's.
The talk is in TB, Frazier and Marinelli will be 2 of the Defensive coaches and maybe Tedford as the OC.
This according to PFT.

Goes with the territory, that said personally I wish they had taken the same tact that the OC took from Denver, which was he would be happy to interview for potential HC jobs.... AFTER the season was over ( whenever that happens to fall for Denver) the NFL is the only pro sport that I can think of that allows interviews to happen during the playoffs ( could be mistaken, but I know MLB does not allow it, and am fairly sure the NBA does not either). I just feel like teams should be capable of waiting until after the season is complete. If MLB ( which has a decidedly shorter period of time between seasons) can wait not sure what advantage can be gained by interviewing a month earlier.

Just IMO nothing wrong with finishing the job you are being paid to do before moving on to the next job.
