In 1996... Wow!

Just watched an NFL Classic Game between the Holmgren / Favre led Packers into Cowboy Stadium against the Emmett Smith and Michael Irvin led Boys in the NFC Championship game circa 1996.

Game was great, Lots of HOF'ers, but what made it great is everything you can't do anymore... damn... hits 5 yards out of bounds, taunting, roll-blocks, more taunting and lots of smack talk and retaliation.. If Seattle was allowed to play THAT way + our brand of physical football, no one would score against our D... Fun Fact: Watching Deion Sanders high-stepping down the sidelines as a wide receiver, 2 way player, for Dallas... This was the right way to play the game.

The old games are a trip to watch, and so is 1996 being 19 yrs ago now.

As it is, I'm just glad we beat GB in week one, so that we could host the CCG next Sunday:)
