Who Do You Think Will Win This Week End?

Postby Seahawks4Ever » Sat Jan 10, 2015 9:32 am

Indy @ Denver- Denver, if this game was back at Lucas Oil I am sure it would be the Colts.

Baltimore @ N.E, - Statistically a toss up, the Ravens have done well here in the Play offs with Flacco at QB but I think the Pats will pull this one off to set up another Manning Vs. Brady championship game next week.

Dallas @ Green Bay, I.E. Ice Bowl II. I believe that this time the Cowboys will win and set up next weeks NFC Championship game.

Panthers @ Seahawks- Seahawks will win, of course. The current Panthers have not been able to defeat our Seahawks while playing at home how in the world do they expect to win at the CLINK ??? I know it won't be easy but I believe we will win and set up a rematch with the Cowboys in the NFC Championship game.

Sterling Sharpe is crying because his Packers have to play the Cowboys. Too bad Sharpe. He also has picked the Panther to beat Seattle and that tells me that is only because he thinks his Packers would have a much better chance of making it to the Super Bowl if they get to play the Panthers at home should they upset the Cowboys.

I am sure Peyton Manning is rooting for the Ravens because I know he don't want to play up in N.E. where he historically has not done well in the play offs going back to his days playing for Indy.

GO SEAHAWKS!!!!!!!! The first step to returning to the Super Bowl starts TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I almost always go home team in the Divisional round, as I have this year. This is the round that really separates the wheat from the chaff.

There can be fluke teams that make the playoffs but you know cant go too far, and there are teams that just get hot at the right times and surprise in the wild card round, but usually the teams that earned a bye did so for a reason.

Not always mind you, but usually.

I would not be shocked to see any of the 4 road teams win.I will be very disappointed if one of them does.. But a case can be made for all of them.

Ravens have been very good in the postseason against the Pats. They will not be intimidated but will be outgunned. My pick Pats 21-Ravens 17.

Luck didn't make any big mistakes last week against a good D and is a far superior QB to Manning at this stage in their careers. But the week of rest for Mannings arm and the better Denver D will be the difference. Denver 34-Colts 24

Seattle gets an extra NFC West game. Ugh. If this game follows that mud slog face punching route it could be within a score late and that is always dangerous. I'm hoping and sort of expecting it will be a bit more like the 2nd AZ game where Seattle will put some distance between the teams by 8 PM. My prediction Seattle 30, Carolina 15.

I pick Dallas to win due to Rodgers bad wheel and a few untimely hankies. Final Dallas 38, Green Bay 31

My bold prediction is GB-Dallas combine for over 400 yards rushing in their game with Lacy ( beastmode jr) garnering over 220 by himself. GB 31 Dallas 17 ( two Murray fumbles keeping Dallas from scoring more while in GB territory)

Ravens and NE for whatever reason I see Baltimore getting run out of the building. Just don't see the Baltimore Offense being successful today in running or passing the ball. Gronk has a career playoff day scoring 3 TD's. Pats 38 Ravens 13

Denver Colts.... Eh, Luck throws for well over 300 and continues his "brilliance" of turning the ball over twice for every TD in the playoffs. Bronco's 27 Colts 13 Luck 4 total turnovers

Seattle Carolina....... I don't so scores for my team.... Punch them in the face, punch them in the face, punch them in the face..... Win

So far, it appears the team to score last is going to win the Pats-Ravens game. Even though the Ravens jumped out to that 14-0 lead I knew the Pats would get back in it. Gronk is indeed having a great game. On the NFL channel this morning one of the talking heads said that there was NOBODY in the NFL who could cover Gronk. I seem to remember Kam Chancellor doing a decent job covering him a few years ago.

Welp, it is a tie game!

I thought the Ravens would take N.E., and they almost did.

Really curious about Rodgers calf injury and how much it will adversely affect him. That entire matchup is riding on that status alone, lol.

Indy doesn't have the D yet to advance, IMO, but has a slight chance of beating Denver, who aren't the same team as a year ago.

Unfortunately:)

Interesting result in the Denver game. Luck tried over and over to give the game away, but Manning couldn't throw anything beyond 5 yards with any accuracy to save his life today. Eh, hope the colts run their new check down, check down, check down, wr screen, check down, check down, playground play to perfection next week and gets past NE.

Oops.

LOL, well, Indy kicked their azz.

Luck will have to be more careful with the ball, but did make enough plays to get it done.

Colts D looked awesome tonight, easily their best effort of the season.

They're gonna need to have their s*** wired tight again next week to pull it off in N.E.

Looks like it will be a Seahawks vs. Patriots Super Bowl. Old dynasty passing the baton to the new improved dynasty. :D

Very well could be - just have to make sure to take care of our business next Sunday, which I think we will.

Luck wasn't that special, he didn't have to be. But I think the Pats are highly beatable. The Ravens had them beat until making a few too many errors. I think we are looking at a Superbowl featuring 2 young guns. I like the match up.

I doubt it, but I'd be quite happy if that were the case as the Seahawks would beat the Colts easily.
The Super Bowl viewing audience would HATE the Seahawks though, because once again for the second year in a row, they'd be treated to a blowout victory with Luck throwing tons of picks, and getting his team killed.
The better match up would be the Patriots.
