This makes my birthday present even cooler ( autographed throwback jersey). Hopefully, this will help pick up some steam for where the man belongs ( HOF) probably not, but whatever. The man was the ONLY athlete I ever idolised growing up. What he brought to the field just can't be measured, just like many players on this current team.

Very appropriate considering the LOB defense we bring to the game!
On a personal note, I'll be rooting on behalf of my Aunt Molly, who passed away this morning at 5am.
She was a dear, sweet woman, whom I owe a lifetime of gratitude.
She was 101 years old (Dec. 31, 1913), and was a Seahawks' fan from Portland, Ore.
For both of us, and All 12's here & around The World...
GO HAWKS!!!

Condolences Zorn. Sounds like an awesome full life well lived.
Easley was LOB before LOB, and so much more. I wish we had him returning punts.
Its hard for me to find a lot of footage of him. I tell my sons how fearsome he was and I want to show them

Wow, Zorny. My heartfelt condolences. Although it's never easy to lose a loved one no matter what their age, feel fortunate that you have a centurion in the family. I lost my mother last summer as she was approaching 89 years of age, and the way we approached her death was more in the spirit of celebrating her life rather than mourning her death.
When reading the thread title, I was going to say the same thing you did with regards to Kenny Easley being our honorary captain. He was a one man Legion of Boom before there was a LOB. Hopefully the guys have a sense of history and understand what a compliment to have Kenny Easley serve as their leader in spirit.

Thank You both Hawktawk and RD.
She had my mom at her side, so she was not alone. She went peacefully with her eyes closed, and even a slight smile could be seen on her face when she passed.
Spot on about Easley. He should be enshrined in Canton.
What was so sweet about last year was not only winning a Lombardi, but doing it for all Seahawks that came before the team we have now.

Props to Aunt Molly Zorn, sounds like she lead a fine life and had an idyllic exit from it. May we all be so lucky.

Condolences to you Z-Man.
Ken Was a HOFamer, however, he will never get in due to the truncated career. Same Problem that I think Kurt Warner and our Curt Warner have, and others.

Yeah Zorn, you ain't hijacking nothing. Thanks for sharing about your Aunt Molly. 101 years is incredible, and she will be another one of the 12's in my thoughts tomorrow. Sorry for the loss bro.
Love that Easley will be the honourary captain, that will just be extra fuel for the LOB to see what they probably consider an honourary member down on the field with them.
Go 'Hawks!!!

My feelings exactly. Zorny ain't hijacking nothing. He's a 12th man brother and a friend, and it is completely understandable that he did not choose to start a sympathy thread on his own behalf yet wanted to share with us a life changing event that affected him and his family.

Thank You again, fellas.
She'll be on my mind today, Super Bowl Sunday:)
Man, how cool is this? The Seattle Seahawks getting an opportunity to defend their title from a year ago.
Who woulda thunk it when Pete and John came here just a few years ago?
It's unreal...yet it's reality.
So Proud and Stoked for our team today. We have a great shot at accomplishing this.
Seahawks, 31-23,
Go Seahawks!!!
