Go Hawks. Great season. Over time, I hope we can all see how special this three year stint has been. Just heard Craig Terrell say he was sure they would be back after the 05 season. Look how that went. This has been a special run and I hope it continues. Even if it doesn't, we went deep into the playoffs in 3 consecutive years - that's something to celebrate. Most fan-bases know nothing about this kind of success. I'm sad, I ain't gonna lie (and yeah, I cried like a baby).

I love the Hawks! Great season, hold your heads high. It hurts to let an opportunity like this slip through your fingers but time to move on. Let it fuel their fire, maybe it will lead to more titles.

Comes as no surprise that our beloved SBB would start this thread.

At the end of the day, it was an incredible season.

The fact that we lost tonight - even in heartbreaking fashion - takes nothing away from the bigger picture as it concerns our team.

I'm very proud of our Seahawks, who fought hard all year to get to this point.

We can be grateful that we have at least one Lombardi in our possession, when you consider that any number of teams have either not reached or won a SB of their own.

No guarantees, but we have a great shot at getting back and winning another, perhaps even as soon as next year.

I said it to several people before the game, that no matter win or lose, this was a terrific season, a terrific team, and I would be happy that we've won one and made it back for another. That in itself is truly amazing.
Don't like the ending, think we could have and should have won, but we ONLY have ourselves to blame, the refs didn't gift the Pats this game, our own play calling and inability to stop Brady and that offense with a ten point lead did that.

I'll move past this, still SO happy that we're in the golden era of Seahawks football right now.
We have the majority of players locked up long term, and are still VERY young. We'll have more chances before all this is through!
In the meantime, no one can ever take away the Lombardi we have, and I feel NO SHAME in saying that we got back to a Super Bowl the year after winning one. That is a BIG accomplishment! This team rocks!

Everybody loves the team no doubt. However, we went through a training camp, pre-season, regular season, 2 playoff games just to get back to where we were last year and a coach calls the worst play in SB history. Go figure.

It's going to take me more than 24 hours to get over it, but I'll get there with you guys eventually. I'm still pissed.

me too River. @ work with all these smirking Niner fans ain't helping, either. But, in the end, we had a great season and came up 3 feet short of starting a dynasty. I honestly think a blowout would be easier to take as I really am grieving this loss in an embarrassing way. Not outwardly, but inwardly..................I am so sad. None of that changes the fantastic run it's been, and we have reason to believe we will be good again next year. This has been the best three years as a Hawk fan.........EVER! #proud #sad #forever12

The newspaper here in Vegas said that the Seattle Seahawks are the odds on favorite to win the Super Bowl at Levis field in Santa Clara next year.

Hey Vegas, hear the beastbus is in Vegas at the ballagio, if you feel like checking it out. Guess they got tons of paraphanelia, autographs etc. Not hard to find ( double decker decked out completely in Hawks colors and logo's).. Just a heads up.
