That would certainly give us the push up the middle we need.
Only the Front Office can determine if we can afford it.
Hell, they gave Harvin a huge sum, maybe they can do something for this move.

Probably just a rumor, though as previous reports said he was letting his agent decide where he went.

There's a difference between where he wants to play (grew up in Portland, I totally buy he'd prefer to play here) and who's gonna give him the highest offer (it'll be the Raiders, they gotta spend their money somewhere). Players, especially for the "money contract" (first taste of FA) almost always go to the high bidder.

That said ... could you imagine?!

Really the only things Seattle has going for it in this regard is location, and the ability to compete for Championships perennially over the next 5 to 7 years, maybe Suh is sick of losing ( much like Avrill was ) and is one of those rare athletes that values victories higher than money. If not that, than a team like Jacksonville and Oakland will be high on his list ( and agents)...

If the guy was willing to sign around the ten or so million dollar range, Seattle might indeed be able to work something out ( though it means losing guys like Mebane, McDaniel who is a free agent anyway and possible resigning guys like Carpenter, and further down the road Okung) but they could do it, at this point though, I'm in the "it's a pipe dream" kind of mood.

Our penalties wouldn't drop by signing him:)

I dunno about this one, fellas. He's a great player, no doubt, but the last thing we need is any entitled, selfish b.s. attitude that he could bring to the team.

I hope we pass on this - if it is a legit possibility - and spend all that money elsewhere. We should've won last Sunday, we all know it (and so do the Pats for that matter), so it's not like this is an absolute must to begin with.

All things considered, the cons out weigh the pros here, IMO.

I think you have to make this move if Suh is serious about wanting to be here. The problem would be what would have to be sacrificed to pull it off. They would most likely trade Mebane to Jacksonville and say goodbye to McDaniels to open up enough room to make this move happen. Ultimately, we would have a true pocket collapsing presence that we haven't seen since Kennedy. The legion of boom would also greatly benefit from this move. This could possibly make this D truly historic. I really hope Bo Duke and Carroll are at least considering this situation.

If he wants to come here maybe he will work a year for minimum wage! Heard its pretty high in Seattle.
