Pete's Interview on NFL Total Access

Pretty interesting, straightforward interview from the recent NFL meetings... you pretty much know the questions, but Pete is real, real good in a one-on-one. Far exceeds Belecheck in handling obvious questions without blinking. I think Pete would do real good in the world series of poker.

Also answered with some great insight into Marshawn Lynch's contract decision - said it 'never was in question... Marshawn loves it in Seattle. , What's on Russell's mind today (and everyday)... what else, the last play of the SB. Pete indicated they talk about it and Russell didn't and hasn't taken it well. ( I know how I get with a lack of sleep. Not good. Having your QB deal with that and his personal life, I think the team needs to bring in an Exorcist the first day of camp and sent that demon out of here).... and the trade for Jimmy Graham.. Pete gave it all to JS and said that they met with Jimmy before and he's totally committed and ready to go. Not sure if the interview is still in the 24hr rotation, but worth the watch if you get the chance.

If it's the one that was just on a few minutes ago it's from Monday and is up on .com: http://www.seahawks.com/news/2015/03/23 ... y%E2%80%99

It's the top video in the story.

HI Bob, yep, that was the one. That's one thing about the NFL Network. You never really know what's coming on with them.
Who was the female interviewer. She was good. Did her thing and didn't dwell on the obvious too much.
Gave Pete the floor instead of those clowns on ESPN on First Take.

I can't remember her name (it'll come to me) but yeah, she was great, didn't softball Pete but wasn't rude or annoying either. It's a good interview.

Not sure about poker as there isn't much talking that goes on. Most of that language is non verbal. A better analogy would be that he'd make a great politician.

Pete's always a good interview. He has a smooth delivery, lots of good quotable phrases, is politically correct (his initials stand for more than just his name), and gives reporters plenty to write about without backing himself into a corner. Belichick on the other hand is a terrible interview. In his first head coaching gig in Cleveland, reporters complained about him answering questions with short, 1-5 word answers, like "I don't know", "maybe", and so on. He is not nearly as smooth...that explanation of his in Deflate Gate was nothing short of bizarre...and not nearly as comfortable in front of a microphone as Pete is.

That must be a real difficult thing to get over.
We fans have trouble, but imagine how hard it is for the players and coaches who put in all that work outside of Sundays that we don't see to come so close.
It's still a great accomplishment to make it to back to back Super Bowls, but that will probably only be acknowledged by the players once their careers are over and they can get some perspective.

I think Pete's too honest to be a politician.

I'd hate to be Darrell Bevell. He's the Bill Buckner of NFL coaches.

The interviewers name is Sam Ponder. It was a great interview.

Are you sure that was Samantha Ponder? She doesn't look like the lady who married Christian Ponder - she had long blonde hair.
I think the interviewer is Andrea Kremer.

Wikipedia says that Andrea works as the chief correspondent for NFL Network, so you're probably on track.

Yes! That's who it was. I'm 100% sure.

You guys are correct. After doing a little research, I found that it is indeed Ms Kremer. My bad, sorry.
