This is about as surprising or Earth shaking of a story as the Pope having fish on Friday, or in other words, it's something that I've come to expect from Russell, and just highlights the fact that next to Steve Largent, Russell is my all time favorite Hawk.

I don't know I still love Tez and Ken Easley, they left it all out on the field for us, and no Ring, just the ROH.
Lincoln once said that judging human sincerity is the single toughest thing to do in the human endevour. So you never know if its done for PR or reality. With them I have no doubt, but with Teebow, and others I wonder.

What convinced me of Russell's sincerity was an email I received from a friend of a friend that was with their child at Children's back in 2012. Prior to Russell cementing his status as our starting quarterback and before the media caught on to his off field volunteerism, they were in the room with their child and in walks Russell, by himself, serving a meal. When you come about information like that from a non media source, it tends to make an impression on you.

Not that there's anything wrong with Easley, Tez, or any of the other scores of Hawk good guys, but Largent and Russell stick out as my all time favorites.
