What happened to Bowie?

I saw his play last game. Not bad, on some plays though he looked LOST. And I definitely did not see a high motor on him last game.
That notwithstanding I thought he was decent. No penalties and he contributed.

Media sportswriters now do not mention the guy or the situation as to what happened. Why was he pulled? And why was McQuis and Carpenter taking turns?
What the hell is going on?

If there is an article out there about this, sorry , I missed it. What do you guys think happened?

He got a bit too comfortable with his little China Girl is my guess.

Pete addressed this yesterday on the radio when they asked him pretty much same question. Coaches felt before the game that he could get lost still being a rookie with hardly any playoff experience, even though Bowie played well the stage and this game may have been a bit to high for his experience. That's why Carp was back in this game, not as good but does have the experience

That explains some of it.
