When they handed that trophy to Paul the waterworks started and they didn't stop until Malcolm got the MVP trophy. Just too good of a feeling to be true.

Greatest team victory in Super Bowl history.
When have you EVER seen a team win and have 10 different guys who could be crowned MVP?
The only time I ever see the winning team have 5 or more MVP options its because no one really stood out.
This game showed what kind of TEAM has been built here.
Congrats Hawks, you showed the world!

Honestly... is there a better Prime Time team in recent memory. Every time they play a big time opponent in a night game it seems like they lay the hammer down. That's champion s*** right there.

Absolutely the most glorious day! A dream come true, for real. I'm stunned and a little shocked in such a good way. To just know we were going to win this game almost immediately after the Falcons game in the playoffs last year and to have it come to pass is surreal.
I'm so happy.

My eyes got a little moist when Allen was handed the Lombardi. I was able to avoid crying but it was definitely emotional.
It was nice to see the MVP go to someone who doesn't normally get much attention and wouldn't turn it into an "im the best" speech (sorry Sherm, though you ARE the best....).
The Hawks have been carried by unsung heroes all season long, it was great to see one of them win MVP

Hi, all.
'Haven't posted since August when the PI was still providing this service (kind of, anyway) but just wanted to extend congratulations to all Seahawks fans worldwide for a historic and very memorable season. It was an epic beatdown today and I enjoyed it immensely, as did you all.
Go Hawks!

I never thought I'd live to see the day! Wow, what a game! I fully expected to win, but never in my wildest dreams did I think it would be a total blowout, complete and utter domination like what we just saw.
I'd write more but I'm exhausted.

Thanks to everyone on this board - especially Humancrockraochinnostrosterous - I am sitting on some very nice gains and having a great night in Reno. Hot friendly girls serving free drinks while my all time favorite team has won a world championship and made me some decent money.
Life can be very good at times.
I hope you guys are enjoying this as much as me. You deserve it.

This was complete domination, against the MVP of the year. I'm not shocked that we won, just wasn't expecting a blowout. The Hawks truly proved themselves today.
Almost in tears over here, can't say much more.
Go Hawks!!!

Who would of thought from those humble beginning in 1976 we are now sitting on top of the mountain. This is so sweet. This erases all the years of frustration of all the teams in Seattle.
This team is just hat a team, total domination in every phase.
To all my com-padres here this is so deserving. What a team victory, this is better than I could ever imagine. We are the Champions of the World!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To all the fans new and old enjoy this day(night), I love this.
Go Hawks!!!

I haven't heard from my brother who was at the game yet but I know he had a great time!!! We had another brother who was a football coach. I mean he coached with both the Cougars and Huskies at various times. He knew Chuck Knox and Bobby Ross and countless other college and NFL coaches, most you have never heard of before.
The last Seahawk game he saw before he died of cancer was XL. I told him a few days before he passed that the Seahawks would make it back and when they did they would do their coach proud. It took a lot longer than I thought it would, but when they made it back they most certainly did their coach, Pete Carroll PROUD!

Unreal guys!! All the years, all the pain, finally to WIN. We knew it would come but we weren't sure when. Wish my dad could have seen it. He loved the Hawks so much. As I said however, this was first time that we had the team a lot of us wanted we were Steel Curtain with Franco Harris. However the know name WR's really came through!! Our young QB never threw a pick!!
Total domination!!
WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS MY FRIENDS!!

Boy.
That escalated quickly.
I mean, that really got out of hand fast.
For the Broncsos:)
Meanwhile...
THE SEAHAWKS ARE SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS!!!
It's so Surreal and Beautiful right now, it's nearly impossible to articulate so soon after the fact.
But I do know one thing...It's Feels F*ing AWESOME:)
Especially for those of us who've been a 12th Man for decades. No disrespect to those who, for whatever reason, have only been rooting for several years or so. Any number of circumstances could be at work there.
It's just...well...I think it makes it that much Sweeter when you've been a fan that much longer.
At any rate, so many memories come to mind. And among those is Mike Holmgren, because he deserved to be hoisting the Lombardi during his tenure here as well. I hope, somewhere in Seattle, he can still smile and be happy for his former team.
I suspect he is.
Meanwhile, we can all Relish in the fact that not only did we win our 1st Super Bowl, but that we did it in historical fashion, as underdogs, against a team that had public sentiment and NFL prognosticators in their corner.
So much for that.
We are The Champions...
Of the World...
And the NFL
And there's NOTHING SWEETER THAN THAT, my fellow 12's.
Especially for those of us who've waited a very, very, long time.
Cherish this.
I think we all will.

Nice article, ObS. What is it Russell keeps saying? The separation is in the what?
My reaction after the game was a lot more subdued than I thought it would be, almost anticlimactic, I guess because the game was never really in doubt and that my emotions were spread out over 60 minutes rather than getting bottled up all game then suddenly released like it was against the Niners. I've waited 38 years for this moment and thought that when it finally came, I was going to run out onto the street and start turning cartwheels, but my reaction was rather ho-hum like it was our 5th Lombardi instead of our 1st. But nevertheless, I enjoyed every single second of it and will watch it over and over again.

Wow! Still kind of numb after the game. That sure was unexpected on my part, not the win but the total domination that the Seahawks did it in. That was crazy. I sure am proud of this team they played their azzes off!!! Been waiting for this since it was first announced in 1974 that Seattle would be awarded an expansion team. Enjoy this time my fellow 12's, Lord knows we earned it!!!

Strange you should say that. I felt the same way. Enjoyment and vindication of what we up here knew even if the scale of the result was unexpected.
But I didn't have any desire to scream and yell about it.
Maybe I'm still in shock a little of how dominating we were last night and how good this team really is.
