Thanks for making this year incredibly special by posting some very insightful and informative posts. I have been following this team, like most of you, from Day 1 all those many years ago. I moved to Denver in 1986 after college and have had to put up with Denver fans mocking me, insulting me, and being jerks to me for most of my adult life. After watching Elway play a few years against the UW team, I was actually hoping he wouldn't wind up someplace that would make my life even more miserable. I was wrong...I ended up painting the outside of a woman's house one year from losing a bet, when the Broncos beat the Seahawks during the Dave Kreig, Largent, Curt Warner years.
This victory is about as sweet as it gets. I'm here in the office, and it's silent and these Bronco fans are completely and UTTERLY silent and somber. It makes up for everything I've ever had to endure and I can't think of a better reward for me being such a faithful and enduring fan. Thank you Seahawks for this entire year, and blasting the overconfident (and pretty uneducated) Broncos and their fan base.

I'm surprised that they even showed up for work today.
I spoke to my brother Jim today. He, too, has lived in hostile territory since the mid-80's, dealing with the donks & their overwhelming self entitled, Elwayized rose colored glasses wearing fan base. Some of the things that come out of their mouths over the years have been nothing short of bombastic, pompous, & overblown, nonsense, such as:
* "The Bronco's don't rebuild, they reload".
* "Yeah, it was a touchdown pass, but it wasn't a perfect spiral".
* "IN-COM-PLETE".
I've heard hundreds more....
So yes, my friend, I know what you've had to deal with. Most of my family relocated to the Denver area in the 80's, and I have 1st hand experience of their behavior. I will say that there are a handful of Broncos fans that are intelligent, insightful, & classy, just like the posters on this site, but believe me they are in the minority. I told my brother that I knew that there was probably 1 person on earth who might have enjoyed this victory more than me, and that person is my little brother Jim. God bless you Jim. Wave that 12th man flag high in the rockies!!
