How Many Times Have You Watched The Game?

Counting the live event on Sunday, I am up to 4. It's cool noticing little things like Malcolm Smith shedding a blocker on his wayto making a tackle of A receiver who had caught a dunk pass. He just dismisses him & makes the play for no gain.

Will probably watch it this weekend for my football fix.

Anyone know where I can find a replay? In our haste to get to NY, we failed to set the DVR. UGH! I still have that debacle in Detroit recorded (still havent watched it...) Looks like the NFL network may replay it on Saturday.

I've got it on my DVR bro but I can't record from it ... I even bought a damn DVR writer so I'd be able to record games and movies off my Tivo but evidently they've figured out a way to prevent it.

Hey, Bob- get the Tivo to Go software (free version can still be found on the web iirc). You can transfer it to your PC then remove the DRM and convert it.

I've watched it 4 times now, and will probably do so again tonight.

Thx for the effort C-bob, I appreciate it. I'll record it on Sat. I can use a few days to come off of Cloud 9!

I've watched it twice so far. I have a buddy who is a musician like me and he is out on the cruise ships right now. I got a desperate call from him hoping that I had recorded the game. I told him that I think a mid-summer Super Bowl party seems like just the exact thing to do.

Just finished my first re-watch. I watched it in my torture chamber (elliptical machine).

I'm seen it 3 times. Twice on Sunday (starts at 1:30pm out here, so a late nite fix isn't that bad) and again yesterday.

If you don't mind sucking it up and paying for it, NFL Rewind. I have the regular season package, as they don't show many Hawk games out here.
I think it was $29.00 --- not a lot to get all the regular season games.

Tonight I saw it again.
I didn't realize how well Russ played.
I knew he played well, but not as well as I saw the second time.

I watched most of it once before I had to take off.

Best thing about this is that it's Always there to take in.

Football heaven on a loop:)

Twice, so far. What stood out for me was how close the game really was when the score was 15-0 and even 22-0 before the half. A few plays made by the Broncos and the score could have easily been 15-8 or even 22-15 at the half. But, every time our team made the play that snuffed out a drive or threat whether it was denying them a crucial 1st. down and/or putting just enough pressure on Manning making him make a poor decision or poor throw.

On the 4th. and 2 Manning had a receiver open over the middle that would have converted the 4th. and 2 in to a first down. On the Malcolm Smith "pick 6" PM should ate the ball and took a sack, instead his pass in deflected and Smith caught the fluttering "wounded" duck pass and returned it to the house.

This something I forgot to add over in the "when" did you know..." thread;

It was huge that we had won the coin toss then deferred to the 2nd. half. I was so happy that once again our Seahawks would get the ball first coming out after half time. That is what I kept saying over and over as Pete elected to run out the clock in the 1st. half, "we get the ball 1st. after half time!!!"

For me it was a fantasy come true when I would picture in my head during the two weeks leading up to the game how we would score a TD just BEFORE half time and then take the second half K/O and make a long time consuming TD drive keeping PM on the sideline. A few times of course I would allow myself to dream that Harvin would take that kick off and run it all the way back for a TD but then I would remind myself that running time off the clock would be more important. man, I must have played how I thought the game would come off in my head a thousand times after the NFC Championship game.

You almost could say our Seahawks won the Super Bowl right at the coin toss!!! OK, now I am stretching it a bit, LOL

Watched Showtimes Inside the NFL last night and it was by far the best watch yet! (I've watched the full game twice and every network's highlight synopsis) ... It mixed NFL Films slow mo replays with the miked up voices of Russ, Sherm, Pete and everyone in range of them. Fabulous watch up until the round table discussion with guest analyst Singletary who tried to make the discussion about the Niners.

I'm gonna have to get the NFL Films DVD of that game if this is what it is (and I'm certain it is).

Yeah Bob, Showtimes Inside the NFL version is great. Loved the shot of RW sitting on the bench watching the defense and says, "Man, he really hit that guy!" Carroll was zoned in & amped up, when they started rolling Pete was in the moment.

Have watched it 3 times now but parts of it are playing in my head 24/7.

I've watched the game in full 4 times and easily a dozen times on good plays; not to mention all of the pre and post game shows. We are having a super bowl re-watch party either this weekend or next. Can't wait.

That's a Great Idea.

Nothing like knowing what's gonna happen while hosting other friends/fans.

No kidding.
Great idea.
And you can also rewind the play to watch over again if discussing it.

I've watched it 4 times since the live broadcast.

What I am the most amazed by is the hustle of the entire D-line. There is a play in the 2nd Q where Bennett comes up the middle unblocked, Peyton sees him and quickly gets rid of the ball to a RB in the right flat about 10 yards away towards the sideline, then Bennett changes direction and pursues the RB to make the tackle. Impressive.

That's interesting, though a week later, me and my brother in law had started making plans for the same thing next weekend. Complete with the beer, Pizza, skittles and what not..... you beat me to it, but honestly not one for re watching games ( at least from an entertainment standpoint). Hadn't opened this thread until just now, but the post superbowl super bowl party idea I thought was unique when we discussed it, guess not, LOL.... :)

Since I locked myself in my host's bathroom and nearly missed the start of the 2nd half, I could appreciate a replay and SB Sunday reenactment.
