The #Seahawks ruled out RB Kenneth Walker III (calf) for Sunday's game at Arizona.

Damn.

Turns out not having K9 was a non-factor in the game as Charbonnet more than filled in for him, might have been the better option anyway given how the game went.

We have a tough home stretch to the playoffs, with the only apparent gimme being the Bears, and given the fact that it's on the day after Christmas in an outdoor stadium in Chicago, the weather could play a big role. The other three teams, Packers, Vikings, and Rams, are all solid teams. There's a chance that we could be given underdog status in all three of those games.

Charbonnet was a stud! But I see having 2 quality RB's as analogous to a boxer having both hands healthy: if my right is dinged I can still knock you out with my left hook but that next guy might be more susceptible to a straight right. I do think K9 is a little worried about his rb1 status right now...

Not that no one here noticed, but it's worth praising that not only Zach was running the rock well, he led the team in catches and finished 7 yards shy from 200 yards from scrimmage, which I know it's just stats but it would have been a cool memorable day for him to hit the 200 yards total.

Zach had a career game, far and away the best game he's had since turning pro. But it was just one game. I still take a healthy K9 over him until proven otherwise.

But let's not get too singular in our praise of Zach. I'm going to start working on a PFF rankings comparison. It will be interesting to see how our OL faired last week. I got the impression that they played one of their best games of the season, too. I didn't have the opportunity to watch that closely to see how our OL was performing, and I haven't seen any replays, but Geno wasn't sacked once and we had one of our best rushing performances of the season, so the OL must have been doing something right.

That'll be interesting, without stats or anything my seat of the pants dyno tells me our O-line is playing better now, but I'll be interested in what you find.
