Top 100 Players

Kam is the first Seahawk on the board at #65. Personally, I would have rated him much higher. They have Troy P. at #61. I think he is too high at his age, he isn't the play maker he was a few years ago. Or, maybe is right where he should be and kam should be much higher.

LOL Nick Foles is rated higher than both Tony Romo AND Colin Kaphisdik. WOW! NFL players rate Foles about 10 spots better than Kap. Foles is one ahead of Romo. Romo is still way over rated by his peers. I expect that next year Romo won't even make the list.

If Kam Chancellor is @ 66 then ET is rated higher (or lower depending on how you look at it, we will have to see by how much.

Depending on where RW, RS, and ML end up on the list it could be a great motivation to show the rest of the league that they should be higher. I am sure there will be a few Seahawks who won't make the list who should. Again, those that don't make it will want to prove they do too belong on the list. Unger made the list last year but something tells me he didn't make this year, in fact, I know he didn't because he would have been named by now.

The thing is, this is a TEAM game and right now the Seahawks are the best TEAM in the NFL. That's what Richard Sherman detractors don't understand, or refuse to. Sherman plays defense the way the coaches want him to play. If Sherman was to chase one receiver(their opponents "best) it would change the way the rest of the defense plays and open up holes for opposing offenses to exploit.

Unger shouldn't be on the list. He was injured and didn't play at the level he has in years past when he got back. Polamlu is perpetually overrated so that doesn't surprise me and Kam is about where he should be I think, it's just a question of which (if any) strong safeties are above him as to whether I'd call foul.

He's not. The other 4 will be Sherm, Earl, Beast and Russ.

Do we know there are only 5 Seahawks on the list?
What about one of the DL, like Bennett - might he get some consideration from his peers or would the rotation tend to downgrade the ranking?

Yeah, there will be some serious talent and playmakers off this team going to be left off the list. Bennett and Wagner belong but won't be there. I can live with no Hunger ( he was hurt and didn't play at the same level as the year before) I can handle the omission of Harvin ( he didn't play) but IMHO not having Wagner ( someone who each year outperforms multiple MLB's in the league) or Bennett ( top 3 Disruptive lineman in the NFL last year) is really unfortunate. I'll take Bennett every down over players that rode their names onto the list ( Smith, Allen both fine players, but NOT elite any longer).

Yeah we know it's only five. The NFL AM crew on NFLN has been complaining quite a bit about it, the consensus being that Bobby and Bennett at least should also be on it.

So that's where the number came from. Thanks,
Too bad they know the list prior to its unveiling. It might be better TV if they got candid reactions as the numbers were revealed.

They knew the number of players from the team but evidently not which players, before the latest program they were guessing which Seahawk would be #5 (having all agreed on 1-4).

So I went to nfl.com to look at the list so far so I could look at the list since I never actually watch the program. Apparently you get to vote whether their current ranking constitutes being underrated or overrated. 36 of the 40 players they've listed so far are "underrated" according to fans which is obviously impossible and shows fans are just coming out voting for their players. The four who are overrated?

Charles Clay
Troy Polamalu
Tony Romo
Colin Kaepernick

Make what you want out of it.

well with 4 of 13 QBs already named that means Rw is at least top 10, which is great.
