Well, time for my traditional Sirius Training Camp plug for the Seahawks.

Sirius NFL Radio hits Seahawks camp on Tuesday August 12 from noon-4:00 PST.

The best part, Jim Miller and Pat Kirwan will be the hosts of the show, my favourite 2 guys to listen to on Sirius NFL Radio.

For those that have Sirius, you know what this show is all about. A great listen, and always gets you jacked for the year. Lots of interviews with players and coaches and an in depth look at the roster.

Enjoy the show, will bump this up a few days before to remind everyone.

I listen to Sirius XM's NFL talk during the season. Good programming when they can keep Tim Tebow off it.

What did they have to say for those of us who only have Serius Radio in our car or don't get it at all?

They had interviews with the usual suspects...RW,PC,JS,ET,KC,DB.

The main point being driven home by Jim Miller and Pat Kirwan was that the "media consensus" out there is the 'Hawks lost depth in the offseason, but they thought that was completely wrong. They lauded JS and PC for the undrafted FA's being brought in and given the chance to succeed. They were impressed with Brock Coyle and Jackson Jeffcoat. PK said although Giocomini may be missed a bit, the choice of either the vet Winston or the rookie Britt for RT will be fine.

Man, listening to RW3, this guy is one of a kind. I don't have to say anything more about him, you all know it. So glad he is a Hawk.

JM and PK said it was a "carnival" like atmosphere when they arrived. They loved all the music, and the fact that it continued throughout practice. They were very impressed with what Pete has done there.

I got the impression from the interviews that no one is resting on last year's win. You can tell they still have a chip on their shoulder, that the focus is ahead and not behind. They do things on their own terms, right from the coaches to the players. You can tell they don't give a flip what is being said in the media. Earl Thomas is so matter of fact, he is so great to listen to, when he speaks, you listen!

All in all, it was great to finally get some decent 'Hawks coverage on Sirius/XM, cause they don't usually get a lot of airplay.
