I thought Clink was awesome. I was shocked how easy it was to get in. 10 min literally and I was in the stadium. Good views of the field. Incredible views of downtown Seattle and the sound as you are leaving. Great acoustics. Most stadiums will pail by comparison.

Listening on the radio today I heard about parking complaints at Levi from local beat writer/complainer Anne Killion. And something about beer running out. As the host Ray Woodson pointed out, these things get worked out in any new stadium over time. The idea that traffic will be easy anywhere in the Bay area is a pipe dream. It is going to be a factor no matter how well you design any stadium. PacBell/At&T is the best MLB stadium hands down and its parking and traffic was a nightmare at first. It still takes a good hr to get out of that area now.

This is life in CA. Be thankful you live in WA.

The benefits we had were that a) there was an existing stadium that century link replaced and b) transportation is already practically hubbed out of the area due to its proximity to downtown.

The Santa Clara location has lots of new challenges that will frankly take years to completely solve.

Ya I was shocked at how little parking was in front of Clink. Just a lot or two. Then I looked around and saw the abundance of lots and garages that were already there prior to the stadium. The entire design is an A+ in urban planning. It also gives fans the ability to walk right to the stadium from one of many downtown bars or restaurants. Sacramento is going to experience a similar advantage with its downtown stadium, which broke ground on construction last Friday. Midtown Sac is very dense and people walk or bike to a lot of places here. Lightrail will take people almost to the entrance of the stadium.

I was in the south bay the last two weekends and in SF yesterday. There is just no way around bay area traffic. There was lines and lines of cars even heading up the 1 from San Jose to Monterey on Monday. The bay is not like Seattle, where you are in dense forest one minute and see huge skyscrapers the next. You are surrounded by sprawl here almost everywhere and there is no easy fix for it.
