9ers game today

Not that I like spreading...crap... but from a 9ers fan today on their own forum.

"Garbage.
Total pretender.
Can never score in the 2nd half. Can't even function in the 4th quarter when you need a game winning drive. He is who I thought he was. An overpaid runner with a strong arm who will break our cap for years to come. If you can't get it done with Stevie Johnson, Anquan Boldin and Crabtree and VD (when healthy and in there) then you can't get it done at all."

Let the implosion begin. Good luck against the Eagles next week.

The 49ers just don't have an identity on either side of the ball right now. They can't decide if they should do what worked for them last year (rushing and D), or get pass happy with their WR core, which is a pretty good one.

They definitely miss Bowman and Smith. Their secondary is bad, and I think they're missing another starter their, too.

It's going to be real interesting in SF this season.

I was shocked to hear they have been out scored in the 4th quarter 31-0 this season so far, and have only produced three total points in the second half ( six quarters) thus far this season. There are some identity problems with them right now, the o line looks suspect ( which makes NO sense what so ever) they can't run ( Gore had ten total rushing yards today) successfully, nor do they run consistently, Kap continues to turn the ball over in the second half. I just don't know. They certainly still have talent, but it just looks like NO ONE is on the same page, from staff to QB to backs to line, they all look completely discombobulated and confused about who and what that offense is about.

It happens sometimes, but this is going on 7 weeks ( yeah the pre season is for ironing this stuff out, which they simply did not do) and without turnovers at the beginning of the Cowboy game that allowed them to come away with a win, this team is 0 and 3, with losses against some "suspect" teams ( Dallas and Chicago, hell possibly even Arizona) it will be interesting to see when they can fix these issues, and how quickly. Denver, Seattle, NO, GB ( you know they are licking their chops for a little pay back) etc aren't going feel any issues with pounding them Santa Clara better get those problems fixed real, real quick if they expect to make the post season at all, much less contend for a SB.

Honestly, that offense reminds me of the Ravens last season, and that didn't turn out so well for them

Another thing SF needs to learn is who are the team leaders? Who rallies the team when times are hard? At podium level, Harbaugh doesn't offer much. Maybe he's better once inside the locker room, I dunno. Overall, he's been a great coach for them.

But the wheels are getting loose right now. They haven't fallen off by any means, but they are a whole lot looser than expected at this point. They have some injuries that can't be ignored, but they also have had some big leads that they coughed up in consecutive weeks.

Maybe getting back to .500 will set them straight for a bit. And the way the NFL is these days, it wouldn't surprise me if the beat the Eagles by 10 points next week. You just never know. Betting on this stuff has been a b***, lol.

We'll see what happens.

What they should know right now is that running the ball 13 times for the game is a poor recipe. Gore and Hyde are good RB's. That's what opens up the pass game, much in the same way Beast does for us (along with having Harvin back).

If they do fall to 1-3, watch out, because that's where leadership really needs to kick in. But first they have to find out who their leaders are.

That Philly game is going to be interesting. Philly has fallen behind by a good amount in all three of their games thus far and have coming storming back to win all three, SC has jumped out ahead in all three and petered out in the second half in every one of them. It will be interesting to see if each teams recipe continues, because it could be ugly in the locker room, and amongst the fan base if SC does indeed drop to 1-3, they are already starting to tweak, though I think it has more to do with how they lost as opposed to that they lost at this point, that could change with a few more losses though.

If they don't figure out what they want to do on offense, and commit to it, I could see them dropping three of the next four ( and the one I don't see that happening in is the Rams, and that is nationally televised division game, so who knows?) Not a happy place if they fall to 2-6 or 1-7.... ( not saying it will happen, just that I could see it happening. Philly, Denver, KC and Rams)

Speaking of lack of leadership, if you watch their post game presser, you know it's not Kap. Sunglasses and Headphones... Really?
I don't know what it is about RW, but he looks and acts the part.

I'm so glad he's a Seahawk.

Yea - that look isn't good for Kaepernick, I agree.

I think he's a good kid, means well, and has upside as a QB.

But in front of the press (and fans watching) he should have a better approach.

Yea, Kap is an immature douche bag. He was asked last year if he could at least remove the headphones during the interview and he said no. Russell Wilson once borrowed a dress shirt from a teammate to do an interview. Big difference in class between those individuals. Anyone ever see how Peyton Manning dresses for post game interviews?

The Niners are in trouble. I'm not declaring a full scale implosion yet and they have plenty of time to get their act together, but they have a lot of work to do. They have yet to play a playoff team and they're 1-2 with one divisional loss and two conference losses, things that could weigh heavily when we get around to determining playoff participants. The thing is that many of us saw this coming, as they looked absolutely horrible in the preseason. They get the Eagles next week, a team that's playing some pretty good football. They lose that one and the odds of they're making the playoffs go down significantly.

That's probably part of his contract with Dre.

Russel BTW disliked the Beats by Dre commercial with Kap getting off the bus for a Seahawks game so much (because he didn't like the way it portrayed the 12th Man) that he refused a contract offer from them and sought out a promotional deal with Bose instead. Much classier commercial too.

Anyone ever see how Peyton Manning dresses for post game interviews?

IMO, class has nothing to do with clothing or accessories but too much will make a person look full of themselves. (i'm sure you can tell i'm not a suit) People's action's will expose their class not their clothing/accessories.

Even though I don't care for Kaep's fashion sense, it's not his clothing choices that's the issue. People are just picking nits with that. I've seen Aaron Rodgers and Andrew Luck in very casual attire at post game press conferences. It might not be your particular style but I don't like Aaron Rodgers wrangler jeans, oversize belt buckle and loud plaid shirt either. It's a matter of taste.

The problem is Kaep's demeanor. I'm reapeating myself at this point. But Kaep is more than happy to talk to the media after wins. After losses it's understandable that you may be frustrated but the one word answers, the repeated platitudes about playing better, the averted eyes and low tone of his voice and most importantly the refusal to ever give credit to his opponents is what bothers me. You are the supposed leader of the team. Act like it.

The headphones thing is douchy though. There is no way it's in his contract to wear the headphones. Maybe they'd like to have them around his neck but there is no way they can expect him to actually have them on his head. Richard Sherman has a Beats contract too. Have you ever seen him actually wearing them over his ears during a press conference? I'm not sure if I've even seen them around his neck.

Yea, I'd be surprised that he was required to wear the headphones in his post game interviews. If it was, I would think that it would have gotten mentioned in defense of him in some article or blog as it was a fairly hot issue last season when it happened. Even if it was a contractual requirement, it doesn't excuse Kaep from his responsibility as a Face of the Franchise since he's the one that signed the contract. The attire thing isn't a huge deal to me and I agree that it's a lot of fluff, but nevertheless, it is a symptom of the overall issue of his being a poor role model and that he doesn't give a rip about anyone but himself. The contrast between how he handles himself couldn't be greater when you compare him to our quarterback.

Probably not required but there is very likely an escalating scale predicated on how often he wears them in front of a camera. It does the advertiser a great deal more good for him to wear them for a press conference than out for walk on the beach.

"Hairball" is Harbaugh, and "of" should be "on".
