OT - The way more classy than Richard Sherman, Mr. Tom Brady

Postby kalibane » Mon Sep 22, 2014 8:43 am

Just a refresher on what Brady said about Sherman after he retweeted the U Mad Bro? Meme:

"I've watched him play. He's that kind of guy So, you know. I approach the game -- and I have respect for my opponents. That's the way our team always plays. We win with graciousness, and when we lose, we could do better."

This is pregame Sunday:

Like some of us have been saying all along. Trash talk is a part of sports. And Brady is one of the biggest talkers. But Sherman was "bullying him".

I guess since he was rubbing it in the face of fans instead of players who can actually do something about it this still qualifies as winning with grace.

Yeah, I saw this, thing is, that no matter how much he does it ( like he did prior to the Hawks game, and during the Hawks game) some people will never admit or acknowledge that the "golden" boy does it. Simply put, he has been marketed as a wholesome family hero, and some less intelligent folks simply buy whatever the media is selling. Same as the Hawks DB's always hold, or the Golden Mary was somehow an interception in the air,Luck is a better QB, or some other random, media driven drivel.

Just stick with Sherman's response "lions don't concern themselves with the bleeting of sheep", which is for the most part what people repeating that garbage are. They can't think for themselves, so they buy what the media is selling, and gobble down the "opinion" pieces they are feeding them ( and honestly it isn't just with sports, it encompasses life in all forms and degrees) gone are days that people research, and form their own opinion, now it is simply wait to be told what to think and feel.
