That's fine, I agree, for the most part, but how about actually opening the passing game up a bit???
He did this same crap in Minnesota, until Brett Favre just refused to run the plays that were called and did what he knew was best.
Bevell is seriously ticking me off, though the lack of talent at TE and WR isn't helping matters one bit.
Still, if Bevell would trust his rookie WR's to do more, I believe the passing offense would look MUCH better than it currently does.

Go Easy on Bevell - Since the Seahawk's Offensive line cannot establish a pocket to protect Russell -- Bevell only has 5% of the Passing Playbook (which works out to about 7 bubble screen plays) to work with.

Kemo Saavy, he is a better passer rolling out than standing in the pocket. He's getting too many balls tipped at the line of scrimmage, as the "experts" said would happen to anyone of his diminished stature two years ago. Let him sprint out and decide what to do, rather than keep him in where he has defenders coming at him from all sides.

I sit pretty close to the goal line, and when the official ruled Beast had not scored a touchdown there was a look on scorn on the Beast and his jaws were moving and I though he was gonna get tossed out.

But his high adrenaline level kicked up a few more notches and in the next two possessions we watched Jim Brown reincarnate. His feet were both digging and flying. I've seen him juiced before, but, today, he just kicked it up.

And he upped his trade value t o Oakland next year to a first and a third.

Finally, that house sized Turkulu, the FB, definitely detracted the Giants DLine and LB's. They did not want to deal with either Baast or The Turk.

And, if we get an OLine back, Mr. Lynch's carries will not diminish.

He was a wild water buffaclo out there today ... and that official's call helped.

I recall some posters complaining that Lynch wasn't getting the ball enough a few weeks ago, & Calling out Bevell for it. Now, we want more passing. I am chuckling at the fact that we as fans, are, even in success, sometimes focused on negative things. I really enjoyed todays win, & while I get that some of you are simply analyzing your team from a more technical standpoint, & looking for corrections in areas that need improvement, I'm a little amused that it isn't that easy for some to simply enjoy a 3 game win streak by your super bowl champion Seattle Seahawks for what it is. Having said that, I also feel very lucky to be among posters who can see a whole different game than I do, & notice, break down, & analyze a lot of the more technical aspects of the game that fly high over my head like a Jay Cutler pass.

Rushing will be key next week, yes.

So will establishing a rhythm for RW passing, even if it means keeping attempts short to start out with. He was shaky today on his decisions, which is rare. Get him some completions early (not named WR screens) to help get him back on track a bit.

Our OL isn't helping much in that regard, but RW can still make it work.

Meanwhile, by all means, allow #3 to keep running as much as possible, particularly on the road vs an opponent like the Chiefs.

Any way you can move the chains and burn clock is a viable option. Don't want to expose him to too many hits, but improvising is necessary when not playing at the friendly confines of home. KC is #1 defending the pass, 19th vs the run, so it's not too difficult to guess the approach taken next Sunday.

They also boast the #6 rushing offense in the league, while being 29th in passing.

Should be an interesting matchup.
