If this turns out to be true then this is a serious blow to the Arizona Cardinals who are the #1 team in the NFL as of week 10.

>>>>>>Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer left with an injured left knee early in the third quarter of Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams.

FOX Sports 1 NFL Insider Mike Garafolo reported initial tests showed Palmer tore his left ACL and will miss the rest of the season. He will have further tests to confirm the extent of the injury.<<<<<<<<

I think AZ makes the playoffs - Stanton has played pretty well in Palmer's absence already - but Carson's injury is about the worst thing that could happen to them at this point.

Regardless, Nobody should take this team lightly. They struggled today vs the Rams, but still got the win, and Stanton had something to do with it. The Seahawks (and especially the 49ers) still have a little ways to go before we can start thinking division title.

Like I said in another thread, the Cardinals were winning by so much luck, it was the equivalent of rolling 20 straight Yahtzees. Impossible to continue.
Looks like they got a really bad roll this time...too bad for them, but it definitely improves our odds of winning the West again.
Drew Stanton isn't leading anyone to the Super Bowl, or even the NFC West division crown for that matter.

Yeah they got a great Backup. He is not T-Jack. They are fine as long as that guy doesn't go down.

What blow? Stanton played better than Palmer before and he went in and turned the game around. The only blow is that they just signed(stupidly) CP to a whopping new contract when it was clear he wasn't the best QB on the team. I was looking forward to our defense playing against that immobile statue that is Carson Palmer now we will have to play against a QB who at least can move around a bit. Look what that did for Eli in the first half yesterday, I would rather our defense play against Palmer all day long.
