Those numbers, as well as common sense, indicate a close, tough game.
Cool huh?

Interesting on one hand KC has not had a WR get a touchdown this year, while their defense has not allowed a rushing touchdown all year.
This is a huge game, we just won the 3 in a row we should have won. This one makes me a little nervous. KC is heating up right now and playing some good football.
Not sure how our injuries will shake out this week, but losing Mebane is obviously gonna hurt.
Containing Charles, and likewise for KC, containing Lynch, will be the biggest key to the game for each team.

On the road - especially in a place like Arrowhead - you gotta move the chains however possible.
Naturally, rushing the ball for both teams factors heavily.
Keep the Chiefs guessing. Maybe Bevell can tap into his imagination and implement a few new plays run from common formations to disguise them. Would also like to see Richardson and Norwood get more opportunities. Run sets up the pass, though, as usual.

Those numbers are for this season, to date w/ injuries and all the other ish we've faced. The way we have hung Quinn & Bevel out to dry, you'd think the stats would look different (worse... Like not top 10 in every category on D and O, save obvious passing game woes).
Anyway, you are right, Bob. Kinda feels like a playoff game & we seem fairly evenly matched. I've heard some Chief fans chirping about showing the Hawks who has the loudest fans, which will make things tough. The Chiefs are heading in a nice direction and have the luxury of playing us at arrowhead w/ their crazed fans. It seems our offenses are similarly oriented and we both have good and improving defenses. #nailbiter
I'd feel a WHOLE lot better w/ Mebane against Jamaal Charles, and I'd feel a whole lot better if we had some receiving weapons. Maybe Moekia has a stellar game against his former team? Who knows. Weather is predicting snow, should be neat/fun. Effin better be.

I'm nervous about this one.

I'm nervous too, sis. KC looks primed and loaded for bear right now, while the Seahawks look like it's taking them at least half the game sometimes to find their footing. I know we have some injury issues but that doesn't matter as they don't spot you points in the NFL if things aren't going perfectly for you. I believe there is a chance for us to win in KC but my gut tells me the odds are not in our favor.
It'd be a great time for the Seahawks to awake from their slumber, don't you think?

I'm always nervous. Being a pessimist has its advantages because anything positive that happens is a pleasant surprise:)
But I digress. This is a good team, very good. But so are the Hawks. And they are certainly used to a noisy stadium. Alex Smith is sort of like RW lite. He throws sparingly and usually takes care of the ball and he is quite mobile. The running game is scary as is Seattle's.The defenses are both reasonably stout. It looks like the weather will be bitterly cold and possibly snowy so that is an equalizer IMO. I wouldn't be shocked to see Seattle lose but I think they have a decent chance to win, sort of a pick em game. It will be fascinating. Seattle has to win most of them from here on if they want to get where they want to be.A win really makes the AZ game next week much more pivotal. a 7-3 Hawks team puts a lot more pressure on AZ than a 6-4 team.

Looks like it will be a nice, balmy, 28 degrees for a daytime high in KC on Sunday, with about a 20% chance of rain.
No matter, we play well in that stuff, anyway.
Expect both teams to run like crazy, and an Underwhelming point total for the game:)

If its 28 it wont be rain...LOL its going to be an old fashioned smash mouth game but coming off a 340 yd rushing game the Hawks are perfectly ready for it.
