I was wondering why I didn't recognize any of those names ... it's baseball. I don't do baseball much anymore.

I'm like Cbob as I haven't followed baseball very consistently in the past 15 years or so, which corresponds with the last time the M's made the playoffs.

First of all, what the heck is a "Director of High Performance"?

Secondly, the allegations are explosive. With as many Latinos in MLB it's hard to believe that a coach or general managers harbor the types of sentiments expressed in the allegations and if they did, would be stupid enough to say chit like that within earshot of anyone.

And lastly, I sure hope this lady has some pretty good evidence because if she doesn't, I could easily see a counter suit for libel being filed against her. Allegations like those could ruin careers.

Sounds stupid, like this lady is creating drama to get money. She couldn't handle a hyper-masculine environment, so she decided to pull the race and gender card to smear the team. More nutty BS from the PC environment.

Gets fired, then accuses anyone and everyone of being RAAAYCISS because of it. Where have I seen this before?

Yea, it sure sounds like sour grapes. I'm sure that MLB will conduct an investigation as they can't afford not to. For her sake, I hope that she has some pretty good evidence as it's a virtual character assassination if all she's doing is throwing chit on the wall.

I'm not going to venture a guess but while it sure looks like sour grapes and trying to capitalize on the current flavor of the month movement, she did get pretty specific with names for it to be all fabrication ... I'd only get that specific if I had something to pin to each name.

They're essentially the top 3 guys in the organization, Bob.

Akin to Pete Carroll and John Schneider.

That's another thing that causes me to roll my eyes a little bit. I can see one of those high profile guys behaving in the way in which she describes, but all 3?

Someone looking for you to make a mistake will eventually find one that they can hang around your neck and roast you on it.

Take for example the crap that GQ is taking for the "Woman" of the Year headline where they crossed out Men and put in "woman" with quote marks. Many people are freaking out about that. So what is racist? Is it up to the person being accused of racism to define it? Is it up to the person accusing to define it? Is it up to someone (singular to include the plural and plural to include the singular) else to define it?

Everyone is racist, mysogonistic, homophobic, etc. in one way or another depending on who is making the claim.
