Biden's Gaffe

Damn Joe Biden is going to f-up this election yet. All he has to do is lay low and let Trump self disintegrate and he can win in November, but if he keeps sticking his foot in his mouth he's going to end up assuring us with 4 more years of The Buffoon:

He got baited into an argument, reacted emotionally, and blurted out what a lot of people, including blacks, feel about Donald Trump and those that support him. To his credit, he quickly realized his mistake, apologized, and is trying to move on, but you can bet that the Trump campaign won't forget about it. The gaffe won't change anyone's vote, but they're not going to inspire blacks to turn out in the numbers he's going need in order to win key swing states like PA and MI. Part of his response was to commit himself to putting a black woman on SCOTUS, a pretty stupid commitment as it severely restricts his choices.
But this problem with Biden's gaffes isn't going away. Earlier he made a stupidly awkward remark comparing the intelligence of poor black kids to white kids. These can't be attributed to his advancing age, it's a weakness of his that he's had his entire career. He made a racially insensitive remark as a POTUS candidate back in 2006 when he said that you can't go into a Seven Eleven or Dunkin Donuts without a Middle Eastern accent.
The Trump people wisely pulled the plug on the daily coronavirus pressers as they were going very badly for Trump. His current job approval/disapproval remains relatively the same, at 43.9 positive and 53.9 negative. Biden has been slipping some. His lead in Minnesota, a state Hillary won by less than 50k votes in 2016, is down to 5%. He has 4-7% leads in PA, MI, and AZ. FL is now rated a toss up, as are WI and NC, all within the margin of error. Texas is officially a toss up as Trump's lead is down to 2.7%. Romney won Texas by 15% and Trump himself won it by 9%, so that's quite a change from the recent past.
